Carvoeiro Villas

This once small fishing village is a popular location for many sunseekers wanting to rent luxury holiday villas. Carvoeiro has much to offer with fabulous beaches, with white sand and turquoise water, many surrounded by the red sandstone cliffs. Due to centuries of erosion some beaches have caves that echo the booming of the sea, whilst others are only accessible during low tide. The village itself has a cosmopolitan array of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants offering a mixture of culinery styles from around the world as well as traditional Portuguese fayre. Whilst the village has expanded and now has a 36-hole golf and holiday complex, a tennis centre and to the east a 9-hole golf course, it has not lost its local charm and simplicity.
