This beautifully and newly converted, old, Menorcan finca is in a superb, tranquil, country location. It is within few minutes drive to several charming villages. The pretty town of Sant Climent and and the beautiful beaches on the south coast between Cala en Porter and Binibeca are only a fifteen minute drive away.

Interior

Bright and spacious, this excellent villa has been decorated to a very high standard. Light furnishings, high sloping ceilings and beautiful terracotta tiles throughout, give a feeling of modern sophistication to an older property. The living room is stylishly furnished with a dining area at one end and a wall of patio doors leading out to the garden and swimming pool. This room is fitted with air-conditioning. The adjacent, modern and fully fitted kitchen has a breakfast table and an open window looking into the living room and to the pool beyond. Casa Dolce has four attractive bedrooms. It has two bedrooms with double beds and en-suite shower rooms, two with twin beds, one of which has an en-suite bathroom and the other an en-suite shower room.

Exterior

Al fresco dining can be enjoyed at the teak patio table outside the living room, which can be placed either in the shade or sun. This sublimely peaceful and private area overlooks the sparkling 9x4.5 metre swimming pool, which is entered by roman steps. A pool side shower, a barbecue, sun beds and a parasol have been placed on the large terrace to complete the relaxing atmosphere.

Amenities

Casa Dolce is situated in between the village of Sant Climent and the larger town of Alaior, both being within a 10 minute drive. Alaior is a charming town with narrow winding streets and white washed houses. A central square known as the Moon Courtyard is the venue for concerts and folk dancing during the summer months. Both Alaior and Sant Climent have banks, supermarkets, local restaurants and bars. The villa lies slightly inland of the south coast of Menorca approximately 6 kilometres away from the beach resort of Cala en Porter and 15 kilometres from Binebeca. The busy resort centre of Cala en Porter, along with the local amenities, sits proudly on the high cliffs overlooking the bay and beach area. A further selection of bars and restaurants can be found at beach level. Steep steps lead down to the beach but there is ample parking for those with cars and a handy mini train runs regularly throughout the day. Set on the edge of the sea with a maze of narrow streets and tiny squares, Binebeca has developed into one of the most complete and popular resorts on the island. To one end of the resort is the old fishing village with its multitude of bars and restaurants and shops while at the other can be found Cala Torret, another attractive development with all amenities. Separating the two is the lovely family beach of Binebeca with its gently shelving sands offering safe bathing for all and experts.

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service.A refundable breakage deposit of £350 is required to be paid locally, on arrival, in the form of a personal cheque.
