This excellent, modern villa is furnished to a very high standard and offers spacious and stylish holiday accommodation. It is superbly located next to the sophisticated Marina Rubicon, where there is a good selection of restaurants, bars, designer shops and activities for all the family. It is only a few metres from a sea front promenade and a twenty-minute walk takes you to a sandy beach.

Interior

This lovely spacious villa is set on three floors and has been decorated with high quality furnishings. On the ground floor it has a living room, open plan to a dining area with seating for 6, both with French doors leading out to the swimming pool. The living area has leather seating and large picture windows overlooking the terrace. The modern kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped for a self-catering holiday and has a door leading to a covered barbecue and outdoor dining area. There is a further very large living room on the ground floor, ideal as a den, with a TV, a children’s’ size table football and a selection of books and games. Casa Laguna Azul has six spacious and attractive bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the first floor, with a large bathroom and extensive dressing area. It has a king size bed, a TV, a ceiling fan and patio doors to a furnished terrace, with wonderful sea and coastal views. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a king size bed and one with twin beds, they both have ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. There is also a guest toilet on this level. The lower floor has a bedroom with twin beds, one with a double bed and one with twin beds and a set of bunk beds. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom.

Exterior

French doors lead from the villa onto a large terrace, which surrounds the 7x3 metre, electrically heated swimming pool, which is entered by integral steps. Covered areas, a built in barbecue, al fresco dining furniture and ample sun beds’ provide a superb holiday setting for relaxing in the warm sunshine. The upper terrace, outside the master bedroom offers marvellous views and some peace and privacy. The property has a gated driveway and off road parking.

Amenities

Casa Laguna Azul is located on the outskirts of the prestigious Marina Rubicon in Playa Blanca. This beautiful, new marina at Puerto Rubicon is just a 5 minutes walk away and offers an excellent selection of shops, international cuisine and marine excursions. The nearest beach, Playa Dorado, is 1.7 kilometres away from the villa and can be reached by a pleasant stroll through the marina and along the promenade, or a short drive. A few minutes walk away is a pebble beach ideal for snorkelling. The villa has the unique advantage of being a 10 minute drive to the famous, unspoilt, crystal clear Papagayo beaches which are the pride of the island and deliberately kept off the tourist track. They are widely known as the most beautiful beaches in the archipelago. The centre of Playa Blanca and the pretty harbour is just over 2 kilometres away, approximately a 25 minute walk along a seafront promenade or 5 minute drive from the villa. The harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. The unspoilt Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfaya.

Services

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service. There is also a mid week clean and change of towels.
