This fabulous villa is located in the in the Goldra development, on an elevated plot with breathtaking, panoramic views of the coastline. Just a ten minute drive is the beautiful town of Loulé, which has a variety of amenities. In the other direction a short drive takes you to the charming town of Almancil, which is famous for its superb restaurants. The fabulous beaches of Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo are within easy driving distance.

Interior

This wonderful, single-storey villa is beautifully decorated throughout and has under floor heating for the cooler months. It has a very impressive living room with luxurious sofas, feature floodlit dome ceiling and a large fireplace. Picture patio doors open out to a Juliette balcony, which offers amazing views. A couple of steps lead up to the formal dining area, which seats up to eight people and offers the same views as the living room. The separate kitchen is ultra modern, with a central cooking island, breakfast bar and television. From the living room there is access to a separate wing of the house which has a study room with inspiring views, perfect for those who would like to write, paint or read. Also in this wing is a television room, with DVD surround sound and an adjacent bathroom. Villa Goldra has three bedrooms. The large master suite has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and patio doors leading to a terrace. The second bedroom also has a double bed and an en-suite shower room and the third bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. This villa can accommodate up to six adults in the existing bedrooms and a further child under twelve on a fold away bed.

Exterior

Villa Goldra is situated on a large plot with beautifully landscaped gardens, which offer a high degree of privacy for guests. There are a choice of terraces and seating areas, which all offer the most stunning views down the hill to the flatlands below, right down to the coast showing Faro in the east and Albufeira in the west. Patio doors from the living room lead to a covered terrace with a large built in barbecue and patio dining furniture, perfect for al fresco dining. A few steps lead down to the sun bathing terrace surrounding the huge swimming pool, which measures 11 x 5 metres and is entered via roman steps. The pool can be electrically heated as an optional extra and should be pre-booked at the time of reserving your villa.

Amenities

Villa Goldra is just outside the historic town of Loulé, where there is a selection of shops, traditional bars, restaurants and a supermarket. On Saturday there is a street market, with locals selling many items, including gifts and souvenirs. It is less than a ten minute drive to the town of Almancil, which is known for its remarkable restaurants and friendly locals. The area surrounding the villa offers miles of world class golf courses, suitable for any level of player. The fabulous resort of Vale de Lobo, which has a seemingly endless, white, sandy beach, is less than a twenty minute drive. Here there are a selection of exclusive beach bars and restaurants, with live music in the evenings. A little more than a twenty minute drive takes you to the prestigious resort of Vilamoura with its stylish and sophisticated marina. It is lined with an abundant choice of pavement cafes, international restaurants and bars, as well as fabulous, designer boutiques. Excellent marine excursions leave from here, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting.

Services

For this villa there is a maid service five times a week and a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change.Underfloor heating is included during cooler months.Clients are required to pay a refundable security deposit of £500 in cash to the local manager upon arrival.
