This beautiful, single storey farmhouse has recently been restored to a high standard throughout. It is located in a small street within the charming village of Xaghra, which has several good restaurants set around the lovely village square, overlooking the splendid church. It is only a short drive to the beach at Ramla Bay and a variety of interesting historical, cultural and sporting attractions.

Interior

This extremely spacious property is entered via a pretty courtyard filled with sub-tropical potted plants. The living room is light and airy with comfortable rattan furniture and a picture window overlooking the pool area. The modern, country kitchen has a breakfast table and a picture window which looks out to the outdoor dining area and barbecue. Dar il Nuffara has three bedrooms, which all have ceiling fans. One of the bedrooms has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is a bedroom with a double bed and one with twin beds which share a shower room.

Exterior

The exterior of this property is excellent. There are a variety of sunbathing areas to choose from on the large terrace, surrounded by well maintained gardens. The fabulous ‘L’ shaped swimming pool measures 8.6 x 4.5 metres and can be entered via integral steps. For guests wanting to take a break from the warm sunshine, there is a covered dining area which is ideal for al fresco dining. From the terrace there is a spiral staircase leading to a large roof terrace, which can be used for private sunbathing and it offers lovely views of the surrounding area with the sea in the distance.

Amenities

Centrally situated within the village of Xaghra this farmhouse is within a short walk to the delightful tree lined square at the centre of the village with a couple of traditional restaurants and bars where you can sit and enjoy a drink with the very friendly locals. The village is encircled by the beautiful bays of Ramla, Ghajn Barrani and Marsalforn and offers fantastic views of the surrounding Gozitan landscape. Ramla with its honey-red sand is the nearest beach five minutes drive away and is by far the most popular beach on the Gozo.
