This small, gated development of five, one-bedroom apartments is in an excellent location. It is only a five-minute walk to the beach and three minutes to Corralejo’s main street. A large variety of shops, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. A selection of excursions and regular ferries to the nearby islands of Lanzarote and Los Lobos leave from the nearby harbour. Due to their secluded areas, these apartments are very popular with both naturists and non-naturists.
InteriorThese one-bedroom apartments are pleasantly and simply furnished, offering good and private holiday accommodation. The open plan living room of each apartment has limited satellite TV, a DVD player, a CD player, a sofa bed and patio doors to a small, very secluded patio and stairs to the roof terrace. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and is equipped with a combination microwave/oven, a two ring hob, an under counter fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is a bedroom with twin beds, fitted wardrobe and a small shower room. These apartments can sleep a maximum of three adults or two adults and two children, with the use of the small sofa bed in the living room.
ExteriorEach apartment has a good-sized roof terrace, made private from the next by a 1.7 metre high walls. They are furnished with two sun beds and have a hot and cold-water shower. To one side of the apartments there is a shared swimming pool measuring 3.5 x 7 metres, which is entered by roman steps and is surrounded by a large, sun terrace, with sun beds. This attractive complex is entered by via a locked gate, to which guests are provided with a key. The communal courtyard in front of the apartments has a feature fountain and several seating areas, ideal for larger groups.
AmenitiesThese apartments are in an ideal and much sought after location, just a five minute walk from the centre of Corralejo where there is excellent shopping and a wide choice of restaurants and bars. There are also several, delightful, cove-like beaches in this area, many of them with a beach bar or restaurant alongside them. They serve snacks and delicious fresh fish and are idyllic places in which to while away the long hours of Fuerteventura sun. These beaches are connected by an attractive, sea front path, which leads into the original, fishing harbour and there are surf centres dotted along this stretch, at regular intervals. The superb, Baku Water Park has massive, water slides, spectacular wave machines and an adjacent 18 hole mini-golf. The on-site Animal Experience offers shows and interactive activities, including swimming with sharks and sea lions. There is also a haunted house, a pirate ship, a few theme restaurants and the bustling and colourful, twice weekly, street market is held here. The very attractive Campanario shopping centre has several good restaurants in its pretty plaza, as well an excellent choice of tax-free shopping in shops such as Springfields. It is open seven days a week and is located 1300 metres from these apartments. There are wonderful views of Corralejo from the pretty bell tower and you can enjoy live music and a small Canarian market every Sunday. The bustling, charming, old harbour area of Corralejo is the original, fishing village in the north of Fuerteventura. The area has trendy, little shops and many restaurants, cafes and bars along the sea wall, offering stunning views out to sea. From here there are regular ferries to the neighbouring islands of Lanzarote and the gorgeous, unpopulated, island of Lobos, as well as several marine excursions, including catamaran trips and glass bottom boats. Just south of the resort, 2.5 kilometres from these apartments, is the start of some of the world’s, most stunning beaches, which form part of a national park. A seven mile stretch of glistening, white, sands lead into pure, azure seas and are backed by sparkling, white dunes. There is world class windsurfing available along this stretch, including the well known Flag Beach and the sight of the sky filled with colourful kite surfers is truly magnificent. There is an excellent bus service from the centre of Corralejo to the dune beaches and it is also possible to rent bikes in the resort. Fuerteventura has been popular with naturists for many years and there are areas of the dune beaches where they can feel comfortable and are not overlooked. From Corralejo it is a 40 kilometre drive to the resort of Caleta de Fuste, a holiday resort with two 18 hole, championship golf courses. Puerto del Rossario, the capital of Fuerteventura, is a few minutes from the airport and a fifteen minute drive from Caleta de Fuste. Las Rotondas, a four-storey 30,000m² shopping centre is located here, with UK retailers such as C&A and H&M, as well as the big Spanish chains: Zara, Springfield, Cortefiel, Massimo Dutti, Jack&Jones, Pull and Bear etc. The top floor has cafes, restaurants and arcades.
ServicesFor guests staying longer than seven nights there is a maid service once a week. Pool towels and hairdryers can be supplied on request.
Car RequirementsIt is not essential to hire a car to enjoy the amenities of Corralejo however car hire would be recommended to explore the beautiful island of Fuerteventura.
