This magnificent, luxurious and beautifully decorated villa is located a few minutes drive to stunning, white sand beaches and the un-spoilt Canarian village of El Cortillo, with it’s excellent seafood restaurants, overlooking pretty harbours and cove beaches. Naturists enjoy the tranquillity of the aquamarine water lagoons and for windsurfers, there is one of the best beaches on the island. It is a fifteen-minute drive to the resort of Corralejo and to the start of the famous dune beaches. A combination indoor and outdoor swimming pool adds to the uniqueness of this beautiful villa.
InteriorVilla El Roque is an ultra modern, stylish and extremely well equipped, holiday paradise. On entering the villa you are met with the full impact of a breathtaking living room, with a 6metre high cathedral ceiling, leather seating, a wall of patio doors leading to the garden and an elegantly furnished dining area. There is a wall mounted, flat screen, HD, 42’’ TV, a DVD player and a Hi Fi system. The impressive, large kitchen has seating around a central island with bar stools, granite work tops and a door leading to the car port. It is unusually well-equipped with high quality appliances, which include a full sized fridge with matching freezer, dishwasher, five ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and a tumble drier. The villa has four very attractive bedrooms with built-in wardrobes. A walk-way with glass patio doors overlooking the swimming pool, leads to the lovely master suite (for the security of young children access to this area this area can be locked). It has a bedroom with a double bed, a dressing area, wall mounted TV with DVD player and patio doors to the garden, with wide views toward the sea. There is a luxurious, en-suite bathroom with a double jacuzzi bath and a walk in shower with giant shower head. Three bedrooms are located on the other side of the living room. There is bedroom with a double bed, patio doors to the terrace, a TV, DVD, Play Station 2 consul and an en-suite bathroom, with overhead shower. There is another bedroom with a double bed, TV plus DVD player and one with a single bed with a fold-a-way bed underneath and patio doors to the terrace. These share a separate shower room. Two hairdryers, portable , a safe and one portable air-conditioning unit are provided in the villa. A selection of DVD’s, some games, a large collection of CD’s and a few books are left in the villa for guests use.
ExteriorA stunning feature of this villa, is the indoor swimming pool, which can be opened up to the terrace, providing protection from the hot sun and wind. It measures 8x3.50 metres and has roman steps. It is overlooked by a large furnished terrace, which provides an idyllic venue for sunbathing and al fresco dining, whilst enjoying panoramic views to the sea and magical sunsets. A barbecue is provided to enhance this outdoor, holiday experience. There is an outdoor, poolside shower and a toilet accessed from the terrace. The villa has been designed to maximise the surrounding scenery and the extensive gardens surrounding the villa are attractively planted with a variety of sub-tropical plants.
AmenitiesVilla El Roque is located within the small village of El Roque with a small supermarket and a high quality restaurant, both of which are within ten minutes walking distance. A large supermarket is located on entering El Cotillo, which is approximately 25 minutes walk or a five-minute drive. The beautiful, white sand beaches and surfing beaches are each a seven minute drive from the villa. El Cotillo is a sleepy, typical Canarian beach village. It has two small harbours and countless shallow water lagoons and coves, with sparkling white sand, contrasting with the black, local lava stone. There is a wide choice of restaurants, mostly overlooking the sae and many famous for their local seafood. The way of life in this delightful corner of Fuerteventura is simple and laid back, just perfect for a relaxing holiday, whilst enjoying some of the most breathtaking sunsets on the island. There is a regular bus service to nearby El Cotillo and to the resort of Corralejo, where there is a weekly market, a large water park and a variety of tourist attractions.
