This excellent, stone-built villa is in a uniquely beautiful location, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and olive trees. It is a perfect choice for a relaxing, tranquil and memorable Cyprus holiday, away from the main tourist areas. It is located just outside Peristerona, less than a twenty-minute drive to the lively, picturesque village of Polis, where there is a wealth of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The fishing village of Latchi, with its lovely, beach and many fish restaurants, is a fifteen minute drive from the villa. This villa is ideal for people with walking difficulties as it is on one level and has walk-in steps and a hand rail into the swimming pool.

Interior

This charming, single-storey villa has an open plan living room and dining area with a log fireplace. The modern kitchen is spacious and fully equipped for a self catering villa holiday. Villa Evantha has three attractive bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed an en-suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms have twin beds, one has an en-suite shower room, the other has access to a shower room.

Exterior

Situated on a large plot of land, surrounded by fields and olive trees, this villa provides peace and tranquillity and offers stunning views of the Peristerona countryside and the sea in the distance. The swimming pool measures 8 x 4 metres and is surrounded by a sun terrace with wooden sun beds, a poolside shower and a barbecue. This together with a covered terrace and a detached pergola, with patio dining furniture provide idyllic venues in which to enjoy a cool drink in the shade, whilst taking in the panoramic and beautiful scenery. Arrangements can be made for the pool to be heated at a supplementary cost.

Amenities

This beautiful region with its breathtaking views and miles and miles of picturesque coastline makes this a wonderful setting for a villa holiday. This area also provides a variety of road-side restaurants and taverns offering everything from traditional Greek food to international cuisine. The Steni valley is located near coastal resort of Polis, which has become a charming and active venue for people wanting the smaller tourist areas on the island. It has a picturesque square full of lively Cypriot bars and restaurants, with a few shops in between. This is a perfect venue to while away the hours enjoying delicious food and local life. Following the coastline to the west, lies the simple village of Latchi, with its long beach, small harbour and large choice of traditional fish restaurants dotted along the sea front. From the harbour, a variety of coastal excursions can be booked, including small boat hire for fishing trips. The sporting and adventure facilities in the area are endless and include diving, snorkelling, exciting jeep safaris and balloon flights. A ten minute drive from the villa takes you to the best trout fishing on the island at a local reservoir. The Baths of Aphrodite are among many famous tourist attractions in the area and a drive to the Troodos Mountains provides a beautiful and fascinating spectacle of Cyprus.

Services

For guests staying longer than a week there is a weekly maid service and a mid-week towel change. Villa Evantha has air-conditioning throughout the bedrooms which is included in the rental cost. Air conditioning units in the kitchen and lounge are an optional extra and payable locally. Optional pool heating is charged at €50 per day, payable locally at the start of you stay.
