This is a superb villa in a uniquely beautiful, sought after front line location, with magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean. It offers excellent holiday accommodation and marvellous outdoor areas for a relaxing and memorable, villa holiday. It is a few minutes walk along a sea front promenade to the beach and the centre of Costa Teguise, which has a wide selection of good restaurants, bars and shops. An 18 hole golf course, a large water park and a marine aquarium are all within a five minute drive of the villa and the resort is well known for it’s world class water sports facilities. This villa offers the added benefit of air-conditioning.

Interior

This fabulous, single storey villa is furnished to a very high standard and is bright and spacious, with several rooms looking out to sea. It’s proximity to the sea helps make this villa so special and it provides a charming atmosphere for a holiday. The villa is entered via a charming, partially shaded and totally private courtyard. Two steps leads down to a large, comfortable living room, with a high, domed ceiling with a skylight and there are patio doors leading to the terrace and swimming pool. A raised formal dining area forms part of this lovely, open plan room. Villa Paulina has three bedrooms in the villa and a further bedroom in an annexe. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, patio doors to the terrace and an en-suite bathroom. There is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower and another twin bedroom with access to a shower room. An excellent feature of this villa is the separate annexe bedroom, which has twin beds, an en-suite bathroom and is accessed via a door from the terrace. The villa will accommodate six people in the three bedrooms within the villa. The annexe bedroom will only be available for groups of 7 or more. Exterior

The external areas of this villa are quite superb. One is as close to the seas as is possible on Lanzarote and the mixture of shade and sunlight make it possible to enjoy this space throughout the day. Romantic lighting at night and the sound of the waves and the breeze through the mature palm trees, add to the relaxing atmosphere and the low perimeter wall ensures panoramic sea views. A spacious terrace surrounds the 7.5 x 3.5 metre swimming pool, which is entered by Roman steps. There are two delightful covered areas, one is furnished with patio tables and chairs, the other has a comfortable seating area, which is raised from the terrace and provides a cosy reading or games area. The other has seating for six and together with the use of a built in Canarian style barbecue offers an idyllic al fresco dining venue.

Amenities

A gate in the garden leads out to the sea and a wide promenade. This stretches a few kilometers from the King of Spain’s holiday home near the villa, through the centre of Costa Teguise and ends at the windsurfing beach at Las Cucharas. It is well lit at night and ideal for an evening stroll to a wide choice of local and international restaurants. The nearest sandy beach is Playa Bastian which is a five minute walk. The rocky seafront by the villa is perfect for fishing enthusiasts and for beachcombing at low tide. An excellent supermarket, the nearest restaurant, a cyber café and a fitness centre are within a five minute walk. Costa Teguise is host to a lovely golf course and a large aqua park, both of which are a short drive from the villa and this is a perfect location from which to explore the stunning and varied sights of this magical island. The transfer time from the airport is fifteen minutes.

This villa is situated in the holiday resort of Costa Teguise, which is located on the western coast of the island. Quieter and more residential than the two principal resorts on the island, Costa Teguise is ideal for guests looking for a relaxing holiday and has many good quality, self-catering villas. It has several beautiful, golden beaches with beach front cafes, bars and a wide choice of restaurants. The largest beach is Playa Las Cucharas, where there is also a windsurfing academy for professionals and beginners. The resort has some excellent attractions. It is home to the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands, with tropical marine beds and an underwater tunnel to view small sharks. A twice weekly artisan market in the Pueblo Marinero is good for souvenir shopping or an evening stroll, followed by a drink in one of the bars. On the edge of the resort, a large water park provides children and adults alike, with a fun filled day. Nearby is the lovely, palm rimmed, 18-hole golf course with panoramic sea views, a club house, a pro shop and equipment hire for holiday villa guests. Costa Teguise is close to a wealth of interesting locations and fabulous, un-spoilt beaches. A ten minute drive from the resort takes you to Teguise, the magnificent, ancient, former capital of the island. This lovely, tranquil town with it’s narrow, winding, cobbled streets and fabulous architecture, comes to life every Sunday when it hosts the largest market on the island. The route north of Costa Teguise takes you the delightful, traditional, fishing villages of Arrieta and Punta de Mujeres, with sea front fish restaurants. The attractive Arrieta beach is primarily used by locals, it has a child’s play area and a beach bar serving delicious, Spanish tapas and paella. North of these villages are several, breathtakingly, beautiful, white sand beaches, with glistening, aquamarine waters. Nearby is Los Jameos del Agua, said to be Cesar Manrique’s most splendid work. Connecting caves and underground grottos house a lake with thousands of tiny, rare albino crabs, a spectacular, underground, concert auditorium, a beautiful garden and a restaurant. The beautiful old village of Haria, set in the "valley of the 1000 palms" is worth a visit. On the northern tip of the island is the fishing village of Orzola, from where there is a ferry to the tiny, un-spoilt, neighbouring island of Graciosa. This can be viewed from the fabulous, 479 metre high, Cesar Manrique designed, look-out point Mirador del Rio.

Services

For guests staying longer than one week there is a weekly maid service and a mid-week towel change. The villa has air conditioning in the living room and in three of the four bedrooms.
Internet access included. Connection is broadband via cables left in the villa.
