This very attractive, two storey, linked villa has been furnished in contemporary style and offers wonderful holiday accommodation. It is located in the sought after Dunas Douradas resort, which has attractive communal areas with a large Romanesque pool, a children’s pool, snack bar, tennis courts, mini-market and a highly-regarded restaurant. The villa is within walking distance of the fantastic, golden beach, with a selection of beach bars and restaurants along the dunes. The resort is located between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo and is the perfect location to soak up the warm Algarve sun.

Interior

This impressive, two-storey linked villa has been furnished to a high standard throughout using high-quality, modern furnishings. On the ground floor, the large living room has a fireplace and large TV, a dining area and patio doors to the garden and swimming pool. The stylish kitchen is very well presented and well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Villa Amelia DD105 has three stylish bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. One has a double bed, an en-suite shower room and TV, the other has twin beds and an adjacent shower room. The master bedroom is on the first floor, it has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom and patio doors opening onto a balcony with steps down to the garden.This villa benefits from air-conditioning throughout which is included in the price and like all properties in Dunas Douradas there is local cable TV with a good selection of UK channels.

Exterior

The lovely garden is private and ideal for families with children, it extends to the front of the villa and around the 9x5 meter swimming pool, which is entered via roman steps and can be heated during cooler months at an extra charge. A dining area with a built in gas barbecue offers the perfect setting for al fresco dining and relaxation in this glorious holiday destination. Very well located in a convenient spot close to the communal facilities in the resort but completely private in its lush garden setting.

Amenities

Set in the delightful Dunas Douradas, a highly regarded Algarve holiday resort, set in a delightful wooded valley leading down to the sea with the beautiful beach less than 1km away. At the heart of Dunas Douradas is a communal area with an elegant Romanesque swimming pool with separate children's pool, spacious sun terrace complete with loungers and a pool-side snack bar. With the mini-market selling a selection of essentials and the fine Xenia Restaurant open in the evenings there's almost all you need on the doorstep. There are also tennis courts and pro coaching is available but please book in advance. From the centre of Dunas, it's a 10 minute walk to the beach where there are 2 restaurants, Maria's in an enticing spot right on the beach and a new restaurant in the Dunas Beach Club. Dunas Douradas is located right on the eastern side of Vale do Lobo, so there's easy access to the facilities at the beachside Praca, the golf club, Barringtons and in Tennis Valley where there's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the villas.
Less than a ten minute drive away is more exclusive shopping and dining in the “Quinta do Lago Shopping” Plaza with its sophisticated atmosphere, the resort of Quinta do Lago has extensive watersports facilities, wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on the lake and at the beach and there are 4 championship golf courses. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one, Aquashow at Vilasol, several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

Services

Villa Ameliana DD105 is provided with maid service five times a week and a mid week towel change is included. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change. A refundable security deposit of £300 in cash or cheque is required to be paid to the local manager on arrival at the villa.
