This pretty and elegantly furnished villa is set in a lovely, private garden and has beautiful views of the lagoon and Faro island fom the upper floor. Set in Quinta das Salinas, a small development on the outskirts of Quinta do Lago, set amongst pine trees and landscaped gardens. The golden sandy beach is approximately a 1.5km walk away and can be reached by walking through pine trees or by road which takes you down to the ocean. Quinta das Salinas is tucked out of the way yet you'll find a large selection of restaurants, shops and bars within a few minutes by car, there are 5 golf courses almost on the doorstep and a host of other sports and activities are available nearby such as tennis including coaching if required, horse riding, deep-sea fishing, water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing and paragliding.This fabulous, Algarve villa benefits from optional air-conditioning, limited satellite TV and a wi-fi internet connection.

Interior

This superb villa is set on two floors. It is stylishly decorated to a high standard and provides very spacious and modern holiday accommodation, in typically sophisticated Algarve style. It has an extremely large, well furnished, split-level living and dining room with a fireplace, satellite TV and large, patio doors leading to the swimming pool and garden. There is a very large, fully-fitted, separate kitchen, with a breakfast table and doors to a dining patio. Villa Diamantina has three beautifully decorated bedrooms. The principal master suite is on the first floor. It has a king-size bed, dressing area, satellite TV and en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower stall. Patio doors lead out to a private terrace, which has fantastic views towards the lagoon and Faro island. The second master bedroom is on the ground floor, with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom and patio doors to the pool terrace and twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and patio doors to the pool terrace. Villa Diamantina benefits from air conditioning which is an optional extra and needs to be arranged and paid for in advance.

Exterior

Doors from the most of the villa’s rooms lead out to out to superb, covered terraces and lovely enclosed garden, which provide a relaxing al fresco living spaces, in which to enjoy the marvelous Algarve climate. It has a covered al fresco dining area and sitting area, a traditional barbecue and plenty of sun beds on which to soak up the sun. This lovely setting is made complete by the 12x5 metre swimming pool, which can be heated as an optional extra and is entered by roman steps.

Amenities

Amenities: Quinta das Salinas is a quietly tucked away in a wooded area between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. It’s within reasonable walking distance of the fabulous sandy beach and justa short drive from “Quinta Shopping” and “Bouganvillea Plaza” which offer a wide choice of classy boutiques as well as bustling restaurants and cafes, which are very popular with families. Quinta do Lago is a huge resort area that contains several luxury resorts and prestigious detached villas amongst the 72 holes of world-class golf on offer. Close to the beach is a large lake where a variety of watersports are available including windsurfing, sailing and pedaloes can be hired, there’s also a well sited restaurant café at the water’s edge where you can relax and watch the activities. Beach access is via a long wooden bridge that straddles the waters of the nature reserve below, and there are fabulous views towards the open sea. Once on the beach there's a superb restaurant open daily with a wonderful choice of fresh fish.
Just a few minutes drive to the west of here is Vale do Lobo, perhaps the best known resort in the Algarve with a wonderful choice of amenities, two golf courses, a tennis academy with pro coaching, there's a new spa and wellness centre within the Vale do Lobo Shopping centre which also has some fine boutiques and a wine merchant, whilst down by the beach is the famous Praca, a dining and entertainment centre with a choice of restaurants, bars and cafes. Also within 10 minute’s drive is a horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track.
This area also has a number of impressive water parks with the nearest one “Aquashow” at Vilasol, several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura with its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.

Services

Maid service is provided five times a week with a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change.
