This is a stunning villa, beautifully decorated and furnished and very well equipped. With manicured lawns and lovely outdoor entertaining areas, there are super views over the golf course from the upper terrace. It’s also in a sought after location, just a short walk from the Vale do Lobo heath and beauty spa, located in the Vale do Lobo Shopping plaza with several boutiques, an excellent wine merchant and the golf club house. Also within easy reach of the glorious golden sandy beach and the Praca, the beach side centre with a range of shops, restaurants and bars.
InteriorThis superb villa has been elegantly decorated to a very high standard and provides spacious and modern holiday accommodation. The spacious and light, living room has leather furnishings, a fireplace, a formal dining area and a whole wall of glass with patio doors leading to the swimming pool and garden. This villa has a very modern kitchen with a TV, breakfast table and doors to an enclosed courtyard. Villa Lurdes has four beautifully furnished bedrooms. The lovely master suite is on the first floor. It has a bedroom with a king-size bed, a seating area, an en-suite shower room and patio doors to a terrace, with rattan furniture and views over the pool, gardens and golf course. On this floor there is also a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room with a Jacuzzi bath and patio doors to the terrace. There are two bedrooms with twin beds on the ground floor. One has an en-suite bathroom and doors to the terrace and pool. The other has an en-suite shower room and doors to an enclosed courtyard. Villa Lurdes benefits from air conditioning throughout for which there is an additional charge and needs to be arranged and paid for in advance and also wifi internet connection.
ExteriorThis villa is set in beautiful, private, extensive grounds, with mature trees and large lawns. Doors from the villa lead out to out to a superb, partially shaded terrace, which has an al fresco dining area complete with a barbecue beside the magnificent 12x5 metre swimming pool. The pool can be heated for a supplementary charge, is accessed by roman steps in the shallow end and has a poolside shower.
AmenitiesVilla Lurdes is well located in the centre of Vale do Lobo and just a stroll from the Vale do Lobo Shopping Plaza and the golf clubhouse. From here it is a reasonable walk to the famous Praca with its wide selection of restaurants, bars, boutiques, cafes and access to the beautiful beach. The resort is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal. The Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels as well as court hire.
Less than a ten minute drive away is exclusive shopping and dining in Quinta do Lago with a sophisticated atmosphere. “Quinta Shopping” and “Bouganvillea Plaza” offer a wide choice of classy boutiques as well as bustling restaurants and cafes, which are very popular with families. For traditional water sports head into Quinta do Lago, near the beach is a large lake where a variety of watersports are available including windsurfing, sailing and pedaloes can be hired, there’s also a well sited restaurant café at the water’s edge where you can relax and watch the activities.
Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one, Aquashow at Vilasol, several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with dolphins.
ServicesMaid service is provided five times a week with a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change. A refundable security deposit of £500 in cash or cheque is required to be paid to the local manager on arrival at the villa.
