Villa Francisca is a delightful, split level holiday villa set over three levels in attractive grounds, with tranquil views over a natural wooded valley. It is in a good location,within easy walking distance of shopping, cafes and restaurants at the Praca and of course, the beautiful sandy beach backed by the distinctive red cliffs. Also close by is the Vale do Lobo Shopping centre with golf clubhouse and the Spa and beauty treatment centre and the Tennis centre with a choice of grass and clay courts where you can hire a court or coaching is also available.

Interior

With entrance into a spacious and comfortable living and dining room, Francesca has a cosy and welcoming charm, a fireplace, freeview satellite TV, dining table and doors leading out to a large partially-shaded balcony draped with bouganvillea. Well equipped galley-style kitchen, modern and fully-fitted and there's a useful cloakroom on this level. Villa Francisca has three bedrooms. Steps lead down from the living room to a mezzanine level and the master bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with over-bath shower. Two twin bedrooms are located on a lower level with each with doors to the terrace. Both these bedrooms share a family bathroom with over-bath shower and have patio doors to a shaded terrace, with the private pool and sun terrace accessed down a wide flight of steps. Villa Francisca benefits from air conditioning throughout which is included in the price.

Exterior

Set in a small wooded valley between the fairways and adjacent to the 13th green, Villa Francisca enjoys a secluded location that is surprisingly verdant. The main living area opens to a large shaded balcony that makes an ideal spot for al fresco dining with wonderful views over the terraced grounds. There are external steps down to the lower terrace, which is accessed from the lower bedrooms and down again to the pool. The large pool has a ladder for access in both the shallow and deep end and the pool can be heated for an additional charge. The abundant mature trees give plenty of shade when required yet still allow plenty of sun around the pool and terraces.

Amenities

Villa Francisca is well located, within easy walking distance of the famous Praca with its wide selection of restaurants, bars, boutiques, cafes and the beach access. Also within reasonable walking distance of the Vale do Lobo Shopping Plaza, and the golf clubhouse. The resort is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal. The Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels. Vale do Lobo has fantastic beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international cuisine. The fantastic golden sand beach is backed by red sandstone cliffs and washed by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean every day. Less than a ten minute drive away is the exclusive shopping and dining in Quinta do Lago with its sophisticated atmosphere. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. For traditional water sports head into Quinta do Lago for wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on both the lake and the lagoon. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one being at Vilasol and several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
