This is a superb, modern villa, well located in a new community close to the fantastic, sandy beach, which is within reasonable walking distance. There are also a couple of restaurants on the nearby beach, open for lunch and dinner, which specialise in good seafood amongst other dishes. It is a quieter, less frequented location with easy access to the facilities if you want them. In Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago there are world-class golf courses, tennis courts with coaching if required, water-sports and many other activities. This lovely spacious villa also benefits from air-conditioning in the bedrooms.

Interior

This beautiful, two-storey villa has been attractively decorated throughout using high-quality, modern furnishings. The light and spacious living room has stylish, leather sofas, a TV and an archway to the formal dining room which has patio doors to the terrace and swimming pool. The modern, sunny kitchen is contemporary in design, with all of the modern appliances, a breakfast area and access to a utility room. Villa Verandahs has four comfortable bedrooms with air-conditioning which is included in the price. One bedroom is on the ground floor, with twin beds, patio doors to the garden and an en-suite shower room. The three remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master suite has a double bed, large fitted wardrobes, an en-suite bathroom and patio doors to a balcony, with lovely views over the pool and wooded landscape. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, each with doors to a balcony and an en-suite shower room.

Exterior

Doors from the dining room lead out to a shaded dining area with a built in barbecue, sunny terrace, outdoor shower and the beautiful 8 x 4 metre salt water swimming pool, which is entered by steps in the shallow end, it’s a perfect setting for relaxing al fresco in the warm Algarve sun. The villa and terraces are surrounded by a lovely garden with a lawn to the rear of the villa.

Amenities

Verandahs do Lago is quiet community conveniently located between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, within reasonable walking distance of the beautiful sandy beach and a couple of beach bar restaurants. Within a few minutes drive is Quinta do Lago, a huge resort area that contains several luxury resorts and a luxury detached villas amongst the 72 holes of world-class golf on offer. Close to the beach is a large lake where a variety of water-sports are available including windsurfing, sailing and pedaloes can be hired. There is also a well sited restaurant café at the water’s edge where you can relax and watch the activities. Beach access is via a long wooden bridge that straddles the waters of the nature reserve below, and there are fabulous views towards the open sea. Once on the beach there's a superb restaurant open daily with a wonderful choice of fresh fish. There are some grocery shopping and restaurant facilities within Quinta however most people head for the Quinta Shopping Plaza and Bouganvillea Plaza which offer a wide choice of classy boutiques as well as bustling restaurants and cafes which are very popular with families. To the west of Verandahs do Lago is Vale do Lobo, perhaps the best known resort in the Algarve with a wonderful choice of amenities, two golf courses, a tennis academy with pro coaching, there's a new spa and wellness centre within the Vale do Lobo Shopping centre which also has some fine boutiques and a wine merchant whilst down by the beach is the famous Praca, a dining and entertainment centre with a choice of restaurants, bars and cafes.Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one, Aquashow at Vilasol, several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

Services

For this villa there is a maid service three times a week and a mid week towel change, for guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change. If you require more service during your stay, extra visits from the maid can be arranged for an extra charge.
