A very attractive and beautifully furnished villa, offering quality holiday accommodation in a lovely, secluded setting. Located in the exclusive resort of Dunas Douradas, which has attractive communal areas with a large Romanesque pool, a children’s pool, snack bar, tennis courts, mini-market and a highly regarded restaurant. The villa is within walking distance of the fantastic, golden beach, with a selection of beach bars and restaurants along the dunes. The resort is located between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo and is the perfect location to soak up the warm Algarve sun. This villa is just a couple of minutes walk from the communal pool and tennis courts, yet in a private setting.

Interior

This delightful, single-storey villa has been attractively furnished to a high standard. It has split-level living space featuring a modern kitchen and utility room, formal dining area and steps down to a very bright and spacious living room with two seating areas, TV, DVD and a fireplace for those cooler, out of season evenings. Doors to the partially covered terrace and outdoor dining area with a built-in barbecue, sun terrace and swimming pool with a walled surround and a small lawn. Villa Margarida DD518 has three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, en-suite bathroom, patio doors to a small, private terrace and steps to a huge roof terrace, with further steps down to the pool. The second double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and doors to a small private terrace. The third bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom.Villa Margarida also benefits from air-conditioning in the living room and bedrooms which is included during peak season (supplementary charge outside peak season) telephone line for incoming calls and local cable TV with a good selection of UK channels.

Exterior

This lovely villa is set in a very private location with pretty gardens and mature trees for shade and seclusion. The covered terrace, with a built-in barbecue beside the sun terrace and beautiful pool provides a charming venue for al fresco dining and relaxation. The swimming pool is 8x4 metres and is entered by steps in the shallow end.

Amenities

Set in the exclusive Dunas Douradas resort, in a delightful wooded valley leading down to the sea with the beautiful sandy beach less than 1km away. At the heart of Dunas Douradas is a communal area with an elegant Romanesque swimming pool with separate children's pool, spacious sun terrace complete with loungers and a pool-side snack bar. With the mini-market selling a selection of essentials and the fine Xenia Restaurant open in the evenings there's almost all you need on the doorstep. There are also tennis courts and pro coaching is available but please book in advance. From the centre of Dunas, it's a 10 minute walk to the beach where there are 2 restaurants, Maria's in an enticing spot right on the beach and a new restaurant in the Dunas Beach Club. Dunas Douradas is located right on the eastern side of Vale do Lobo, so there's easy access to the facilities at the beachside Praca, the golf club, Barringtons and in Tennis Valley where there's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the villas.
Less than a ten minute drive away is more exclusive shopping and dining in the “Quinta do Lago Shopping” Plaza with its sophisticated atmosphere, the resort of Quinta do Lago has extensive watersports facilities, wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on the lake and at the beach and there are 4 championship golf courses. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one, Aquashow at Vilasol, several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

Services

Villa Margarida DD518 is provided with maid service four times a week and a mid week towel change is included. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change. A damage and telephone deposit will be required on arrival; this is taken by blank credit card slip. The villa will be checked and the damage deposit returned by mail during the week following your departure.
