This is a beautiful, elegantly furnished west-facing villa, set in lovely, secluded grounds within a gated community. It is just a stroll from the community tennis courts and gymnasium, which are provided for the use of guests staying in Fazenda Santiago. It’s a short drive to Vale do Lobo with its fabulous golden beach and the Praca, the famous beachside centre, the golf clubhouse and health and beauty spa. This villa has air-conditioning throughout which is included during peak season.
InteriorThis lovely two-storey villa is well presented and elegantly furnished. It offers spacious, bright and modern holiday accommodation with a sophisticated Algarve style. The large, well furnished living room has a fireplace, satellite TV and a formal dining area. Patio doors lead out to the swimming pool and garden. There is a very large, fully-fitted, separate kitchen with a breakfast table. Casa Monica has three attractively decorated bedrooms. The beautiful master suite is on the first floor. It has a bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom and doors to a private terrace with views over Vale do Lobo to the sea. The other bedrooms are on the ground floor, both have twin beds, en-suite bathroom or shower room and patio doors to the swimming pool and terrace. This villa has air-conditioning throughout which is included during peak season.
ExteriorDoors from several rooms lead out to the garden and swimming pool, which measures 10x5 metres and is entered by roman steps. This lovely, secluded setting is made complete by a covered dining terrace, with gas barbecue, sun terraces and a surrounding, lush garden with mature trees and lawns. Within a stroll are the community gym and tennis courts.
AmenitiesVilla Monica is set in a private gated community in a peaceful rural location just a few minutes drive from the centre of Vale do Lobo, with Shopping Plaza, golf clubhouse and the Praca with its wide selection of restaurants, bars, boutiques, cafes and access to the beach. The fit would be able to walk to the beach within a half hour. The resort is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal. The Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels. Vale do Lobo has fantastic beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international cuisine. The fantastic golden sand beach is backed by red sandstone cliffs and washed by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean every day. Less than a ten minute drive away is the exclusive shopping and dining in Quinta do Lago with its sophisticated atmosphere. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. For traditional water sports head into Quinta do Lago for wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on both the lake and the lagoon. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one being at Vilasol and several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
ServicesThe property will be cleaned for arrival and there will be further maid visits 4 times per week, excluding weekends and Public Holidays. The towels will be changed twice per week and the linen once. Towels for the beach and pool area can be hired.
A damage and telephone deposit will be required on arrival; this is taken by blank credit card slip. The villa will be checked and the damage deposit returned by mail during the week following your departure.
