Villa Alegria is a beautiful holiday villa set in very attractive wooded grounds with relaxing views through to the golf course and the 14th fairway. It is in a terrific location just a few minutes walk from the Vale do Lobo shopping plaza, Health and Beauty Spa and the golf clubhouse. Whilst the drive to the Praca is a little circuitous, one can also walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants and of course, the beautiful sandy beach there, backed by the distinctive red cliffs. The tennis centre with a choice of grass and clay courts is also within walking distance and there's a well known Chinese restaurant.

Interior

The entrance into Villa Alegria leads to the very spacious and attractively styled, split-level living and dining room with limited satellite TV, welcoming fireplace and double doors to a large partially-shaded terrace overlooking the pool. There is a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with laundry area and access to the courtyard. The villa has four bedrooms, the master has a king-size bed, doors to a small private terrace and en suite bathroom with bath and shower stall. A second bedroom has twin beds that can be converted to a king-size bed and has an en suite bathroom. There is a further twin bedroom with doors to the terrace and en suite bathroom with bath and shower stall. The fourth bedroom is accessed via the kitchen and has three single beds and a shower room. This is ideal for older children wanting a bit more privacy and independence from the rest of the family.Villa Alegria benefits from WiFi internet access and air-conditioning in the bedrooms which is included during peak season.

Exterior

Set in extensive wooded grounds between the fairways, Alegia enjoys a secluded location that is surprisingly verdant. The main living area opens to a large shaded terrace that makes an ideal spot for al fresco dining with wonderful views over the pool to the 14th fairway. To the side is the barbecue area with shaded seating and built-in preparation area complete with a sink and running water. The pool and sun terrace is reached by a broad set of steps. The large pool has integral steps for access in the shallow end and the pool can be heated for an additional charge. The abundant mature trees give plenty of shade and seclusion when required yet still allowing plenty of sun around the pool and terraces.

Amenities

Villa Alegria is really well located, not far from most of the facilities in Vale do Lobo. Within easy walking distance of the famous Praca with its wide selection of restaurants, bars, boutiques, cafes and the beach access. Also within reasonable walking distance of the Vale do Lobo Shopping Plaza and the golf clubhouse. The resort is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal. The Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels. Vale do Lobo has fantastic beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international cuisine. The fantastic golden sand beach is backed by red sandstone cliffs and washed by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean every day. Less than a ten minute drive away is the exclusive shopping and dining in Quinta do Lago with its sophisticated atmosphere. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track. For traditional water sports head into Quinta do Lago for wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on both the lake and the lagoon. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one being at Vilasol and several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.

Services

Maid service is provided five times a week with a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change.
