This impressive and uniquely located villa has undeniably the best panoramic views on Lanzarote. It’s principal terrace, which surrounds the huge, heated swimming pool and adjacent child’s pool, has uninterrupted sea views to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos. This unusually spacious, sought-after villa is set in extensive, sub-tropical gardens and provides an idyllic setting for a memorable holiday. It is in a superb, elevated location above the attractive, old harbour area of Puerto del Carmen. A few minutes drive takes you to the stunning marina at Puerto Calero, with a wealth of excellent restaurants, designer boutiques and marine excursions. The resort of Puerto del Carmen boasts 7 kilometres of fabulous, golden beaches and a wide variety of attractions.

Interior

This superb, very large, traditional style villa offers a wonderful holiday experience. It has been designed to offer excellent space and privacy, with secluded terraces off most of the rooms. The entrance hall has an attractive internal garden and leads to the principal reception rooms. The living room is furnished with leather seating, has a drinks bar with stools, glorious sea views and large patio doors leading out to the fabulous terrace and swimming pools. The formal dining room has seating for 10 and the unusual feature of a large, internal barbecue at one end. This can be used throughout the year for entertaining and family evenings. A cozy snug is equipped with a limited satellite TV, DVD and a library of books and games. The adjacent, large kitchen is very well-equipped. It has a breakfast room with a terrace, a utility room and access to an external dining terrace. Villa Felicia has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and patio doors to the main terrace and swimming pools. There are two bedrooms with twin beds and private, secluded terraces. One has an en-suite bathroom, the other has an en-suite shower room.

Exterior

The setting of this villa is exceptionally beautiful. It is in ½ acre of well-maintained, mature gardens, which surround it on three sides and provide charming, shaded areas and several secluded terraces. A fabulous, 13x7 metre, heated swimming pool is entered by roman steps and has an adjacent child’s pool, both are maintained to a minimum temperature of 26 degrees. They are surrounded by a huge, south-west facing terrace, which captures the sun all day, has magnificent sea views, sun beds and seating areas. A traditional Canarian barbecue and an al fresco dining area complete this lovely setting, which offers a perfect holiday experience.

Amenities

Villa Felicia is situated in an elevated,position on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen in easy driving distance of the Old Town and picturesque, old harbour area with a large selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets which is approximately 1.5km away. Here there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants, most of which have panoramic sea and mountain views, which specialize in local fish, tapas and international cuisine. It is a beautiful and relaxing location from which to watch spectacular sunsets and the local fishermen bringing in the catch of the day, while enjoying a class of sangria or a local wine. Many excursions leave from this harbour, including a glass bottom boat. The small, golden sand beach Playa Chica is 1.5 kilometres from the villa. It also has a volcanic rocky cove, famous for excellent snorkelling, a small restaurant and a dive school. Nearby is the start of 7 kilometres of fabulous, golden beaches, all of which fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination and offer sun beds, parasols and a variety of water sports. This seemingly endless expanse of golden sand, interspersed by a few coves, stretches from Puerto del Carmen to Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote. There is a wide beach-front promenade taking you past shops, restaurants and cafes. For the young at heart Puerto del Carmen, the largest resort on Lanzarote, has the best selection of night life, including a casino. A variety of sporting activities and entertainment are available in the resort and nearby. These include tennis, karting, mini-golf, bike, quad and buggie rental. The large Biosfera shopping centre in the old town area has an excellent selection of tax-free shops, including Zara, Timberland and Swarovski and a children's play area. Within a few minutes drive is a small Wild West theme park where children can see a selection of unusual animals, enjoy the daily parrot and sea lion shows and go on pony rides. Line dancing, barbecues and wild-west shows are offered in the evenings. The exclusive marina at Puerto Calero is only a few minutes journey by car, or a water ride taxi from the Old Town harbour. A costal path connects the Old Town harbour to the Puerto Calero Marina which has a superb selection of designer boutiques. It is a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants, while enjoying the activities of an international marina and the sight of stunningly luxurious, jet-set boats. It is also the departure point for many popular excursions including game fishing, a catamaran excursion to the famous Papagayo Beaches, submarine trips and yacht charters. This holiday villa is ideally located for exploring the rest of the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Central Puerto del Carmen is only 25 kilometres to the resort of Costa Teguise. Here the islands water park, the biggest aquarium in the Canary Islands, a beautiful 18 hole golf course and world class wind surfing schools are located. The volcanic wine growing region of La Geria is only a few kilometres drive and there are many Bodegas (vineyards) where local produce can be sampled and purchased.
