Interior

Casa Quemada is popular with an ever growing clientele, who prefer an eco friendly, holiday environment. The entire, expansive property is powered by solar panels, with an automatic battery system and a back-up, modern generator.Main villa: This lovely villa has been lovingly decorated with a modern twist to keep it's original character. The furnishings are of high quality and the property is kept sunny and light by many windows, with panoramic views. The attractive living room has a flat screen TV, leather sofas at one end and a Moroccan style seating are, at the other. Two archways leads through to the spectacular, large kitchen. This is fully equipped with modern, stainless steel, gas fuelled appliances and has a fabulous, marble central island with seating for up to ten and a separate pantry. The main villa has four bedrooms sleeping up to eight. There are two spacious bedrooms with twin beds, one of which has a washbasin and vanity. There is an internal bedroom with a king size bed and one smaller bedroom with a double bed. They share a spectacular bathroom with a huge, built-in, roman style sunken bath, an overhead shower and double washbasins. There is also a very large shower room with a wet-room style walk-in shower. A games room with a small sized billiard table and an extensive collection of DVDS, books and games provides entertainment for all the family. It is important that clients are aware that this property is not fuelled by mains electricity. It has been used as a family home for several years, by a large family using the alternative, eco friendly system in place. Instructions will be given by the property manager on arrival and information is also provided in the villa book within the villa. As the system is automatic, there is no need for clients to do anything to maintain the system. This is in line with a rise in popularity of an eco friendly style living. Please note that the system is separately housed and if the generator should need to kick in for a short time to recharge the batteries, the hum from the machine is barely noticable.

Cottage: This charming cottage is set in the lovely garden, a few metres from the main house. It has an attractive living room with patio doors to two private terraces, one with comfortable seating and a second private terrace and some of the best views on the island. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a window looking out to the garden. The new bathroom has a large bath with an overhead shower. There is also access to the cottage from the driveway, for greater privacy. The annexe is available for an extra charge and is only available together with the main villa and will not be let independently. The generator and solar system also power this annexe.
The accommodation is ideal for large groups with the addition of a delightful, fully fitted, one bedroom cottage, within the grounds. For smaller groups, the villa is also ideal and cozy for a tranquil holiday.
