Villa Montego is a stunning two storey villa within easy walking distance to the buzzing, cosmopolitan resort of Carvoeiro. The nearest beach of Centeanes is only 1.3 km away and it is only a ten minute drive to Praia de Marinha, which is listed as one of the world’s top 100 beaches. There are two world class golf courses nearby and also the very popular Aqua Park in Lagoa. For larger families or groups, Villa Casandra is next door.
InteriorThis beautiful, air conditioned villa has been furnished to a high standard throughout. The living room is bright and spacious and has patio doors leading to the terrace. There is a formal dining area, which leads to the well-equipped, modern kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table. Villa Montego has four attractive bedrooms all with air conditioning and en-suite bath or shower rooms. On the first floor is the master bedroom, which has a double bed, a dressing area and en-suite bathroom. Also on this level is a bedroom with twin beds and en-suite bathroom. Both of these bedrooms have patio doors leading to the upper terrace with fabulous views over the pool, grounds and to the sea. On the ground floor there are two further twin bedrooms, both have en-suite shower rooms and patio doors leading to the garden and pool area.
ExteriorPatio doors from both the living room and ground floor bedrooms lead out to the partially shaded terrace with comfortable patio dining furniture. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy al fresco dining, with some welcome shade from the warm sun. A couple of steps lead down to the sunbathing terrace, surrounding the 12 x 6 metre swimming pool, which is entered via integral steps and can be electrically heated for an extra charge. The gardens which surround the property are beautifully landscaped, with sub-tropical plants, trees and green lawns.
AmenitiesThis villa is ideally located between Vale do Milho and Carvoeiro town. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful area of citrus groves and vineyards. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Algarve and it is only a fifteen minute walk downhill to the cosmopolitan, centre of Carvoeiro with a picturesque cove beach, bars and restaurants, offering traditional and international cuisine. With a supermarket, pharmacy, shops and banks, guests have everything on their doorstep. The nearby, bustling town of Portimao has a marina with a variety of excursions, including boat rentals, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, dolphin and whale spotting. The nearby, small village of Guia has a superb Zoo- Marine park with shows and the opportunity to swim with dolphins. It is approximately a thirty minute drive to the top-class resort of Villamoura with a marina, golf courses, a casino and broad, sandy beaches.
ServicesThere is a maid service three times a week. There is air conditioning in all four bedrooms and the living room which is included in the cost of the villa.
