This impressive villa is superbly located in the exclusive, international marina at Puerto Calero, a beautiful setting, with excellent amenities. It is less than a five minute drive to an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and designer boutiques. Several marine excursions depart from the marina, including yacht charters and big game fishing. There is a water taxi to the old harbour area of Puerto del Carmen, where fresh fish is served in a variety of traditional restaurants, with wonderful sea views. The harbour and the small Playa Chica beach, with a dive centre and snorkelling school, can also be reached along a beautiful coastal walk. Puerto del Carmen also offers 3.5 kilometres of glorious, golden sand beaches. This villa has a Wi Fi connection for clients use.
InteriorThis is an extremely spacious, two-storey and modern villa. It has been fitted and decorated to a very high standard and provides excellent holiday accommodation. An entry hall with a guest cloakroom leads to a big living room with an open plan, formal dining area. It has walls of huge patio doors, which lead onto an expansive, covered terrace, with an attractive wooden ceiling. There is a separate kitchen, which is fully fitted for a self catering holiday. The villa has six bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, a high quality, en-suite bathroom and patio doors which lead to the upper terrace. There are two further twin bedrooms on this floor, with en-suite shower rooms, one with patio doors to the terrace.The three remaining bedrooms are located on the lower floor, one has twin beds, another has a double bed and both have patio doors to the pool terrace and share a full Canarian shower room. A further bedroom has a double bed and an en suite shower room. There is a second living room on the lower level with patio doors leading to the swimming pool and sun terrace. The villa will accommodate 12 people in the bedrooms and a further child under 12 years of age on a fold-a-way bed.
ExteriorFrom the upper terrace outside the living room there are steps leading down to a large sun bathing terrace, which surrounds the electrically heated, 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, entered by roman steps. For added convenience there is a shower room with toilet. There is covered terrace with patio dining furniture, a large Canarian barbeque and romantic lighting, which offer the perfect al fresco dining venue in this marvellous climate. This terrace is extremely sheltered and private.
AmenitiesPuerto Calero is the first and most famous marina on Lanzarote. It was designed and built to attract the worlds most glamorous super yachts and offers an accordingly sophisticated atmosphere. Many world class, sailing regattas are hosted here and attract members of the Spanish royal family along with famous sports people. A variety of restaurants, designer shops and a supermarket are located along the waterfront, with charming views of the hustle and bustle of the marina. There are two hotels in the area, both are available for villa clients to enjoy their facilities, which include Wellness Spa’s, tennis courts and paddle tennis. The Canarian Cetacean Museum, the only dolphin and whale museum in Spain, offers a unique opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures, their sounds and habits through over two hundred exhibits. There is also a selection of excellent excursions that leave from the marina, including a submarine diving adventure, catamaran sailing, big game fishing and the possibility of chartering yachts and luxury cruisers. Alternatively a water taxi or bus service links the area with the main resort of Puerto del Carmen; clients with cars can drive there in less than ten minutes. The resort is home to five kilometres of spectacular, golden beaches. Puerto Calero is a fifteen minute transfer from the airport.
ServicesThere is a mid-week towel change and for guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service, which includes a towel and linen change.
