This charming Canarian villa has been lovingly restored to offer a relaxing retreat in a beautiful part of Lanzarote. Oasis de Nazaret is a rural village, set on a hillside with fabulous views to the sea and volcanoes. It is only a ten minute drive to the fabulous beaches and amenities in the nearby resort of Costa Teguise. Famara beach, the longest natural beach in Lanzarote is world famous for surfing and kite surfing and is also only a ten minute drive away.

Interior

This beautiful villa is light and spacious throughout. The open plan living room has large leather sofas and a dining area with a picture window offering beautiful views across the terrace to the mountains. An archway leads through to the separate kitchen, which is bright and modern and has a breakfast table. Casa Colibre has three delightful bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super-king size bed, walk in wardrobe and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a king size bed and a large en suite shower room. The remaining bedroom has twin beds and access to a shower room.

Exterior

The upper terrace is partially shaded by a wooden pergola, providing you with a welcome break from the warm Canarian sun whilst taking in the fabulous sea and mountain views. The patio dining furniture on this terrace offers the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of local wine and watch some fabulous sunsets. A couple of steps lead down to the sunbathing terrace, surrounding the 7 x 3.5 metre electrically heated swimming pool, which is entered via roman steps.

Amenities

The villa is located in the hillside village of Nazaret which boasts one of Lanzarote’s leading restaurants, Lag O Mar, which is a short walk from the villa. Lag O Mar is built into the volcanic hillside and as well as offering excellent food in the restaurant, there is also a bar where you can enjoy live jazz music. Nazaret also has one other Canarian style bar / restaurant and a local supermarket. The holiday resort of Costa Teguise is a 10 minute drive away with several beautiful, golden beaches with beach front cafes, bars and a wide choice of restaurants. The largest beach is Playa Las Cucharas, where there is also a windsurfing academy for professionals and beginners. The resort has some excellent attractions. It is home to the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands, with tropical marine beds and an underwater tunnel to view small sharks. A twice weekly artisan market in the Pueblo Marinero is good for souvenir shopping or an evening stroll, followed by a drink in one of the bars. On the edge of the resort, a large water park provides children and adults alike, with a fun filled day. Nearby is the lovely, palm rimmed, 18-hole golf course with panoramic sea views, a club house, a pro shop and equipment hire for holiday villa guests. The ancient inland capital of Teguise is only a five minute drive away and offers an excellent selection of restaurants as well as a Sunday street market. Teguise also boasts a selection of small art galleries, museums and shops selling local artists’ work. It is only a ten minute drive from Teguise to the un-spoilt village of Famara on the North West coast of the island. The large sweeping beach of Famara nestles under the cliffs of Los Riscos and is famous for surfing, boogie boarding and kite-surfing. It is also known as a naturist beach. The village itself is very small with a handful of local bars and simple fish restaurants. The modern art gallery at the Ceasar Manrique Foundation at Tahiche is only a five minute drive away. Nazaret is about a twenty minute drive from the airport and a twenty five minute drive from the main resort of Puerto Del Carmen.
