Villa Rocco is excellent holiday accommodation for a relaxing holiday in the Algarve. Situated in an elevated position, with a superb infinity pool and fantastic views, the villa is set away from the hustle of the tourist areas it enjoys a little of the real Portugal without being too isolated. It is only ten minute drive to the beautiful town of Loulé, with its variety of amenities. In the opposite direction a short drive takes you to the charming town of Almancil, which is famous for its superb restaurants. The fabulous beaches of Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo are also within easy driving distance.

Interior

This magnificent villa is of a very high standard and is extremely light and spacious throughout. The imposing open plan living and dining room has two stylish seating areas and is air conditioned. There is a corner sofa with flat screen television and DVD player and a more formal area with sofas positioned in front of patio doors affording fantastic views out across the pool and surrounding countryside to the sea. The house has been built on the side of a hillside and has been designed with the original rock being a unique feature, running along the wall in the living and dining area. The separate, fitted kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances. A sweeping staircase leads to a galleried landing that overlooks the living area and has a pool table and gym equipment. Villa Rocco has four beautifully decorated bedrooms all with air conditioning. On the first floor the master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle. Also on this floor is a further bedroom with twin beds and en-suite shower room and a bedroom with a double bed and with access to a bathroom are also on this floor. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite shower room.

Exterior

Patio doors from the living and dining room lead out to the pool area. The impressive infinity swimming pool accessed by integral steps measures 10 x 5m and has a feature fountain. A built-in barbecue and outdoor food preparation area along with outdoor furniture provides the perfect place to spend hours of alfresco dining. There is a small drop on the other side of the infinity pool so this may be unsuitable for families with smaller children.

Amenities

Villa Rocco is situated in Valados, just outside the historic town of Loulé. Loulé has a selection of shops, traditional bars, restaurants and a supermarket. On Saturdays there is a street market with locals selling many items, including gifts and souvenirs. Also nearby is the village of Santa Barbara de Nexe with a few shops, bars, chemist and bank. It is less than a ten minute drive to the town of Almancil, which is known for its remarkable restaurants and friendly locals. The area surrounding the villa offers miles of world class golf courses, suitable for any level of player. The fabulous resort of Vale de Lobo, which has a seemingly endless, white, sandy beach, is less than a twenty minute drive. Here there are a selection of exclusive beach bars and restaurants, with live music in the evenings. A little more than a twenty minute drive takes you to the prestigious resort of Vilamoura with its stylish and sophisticated marina. It is lined with an abundant choice of pavement cafes, international restaurants and bars, as well as fabulous, designer boutiques. Excellent marine excursions leave from here, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting.

Services

For clients staying for 7 nights there is a weekly maid service. There is air conditioning in the living area and all four bedrooms which is an optional extra and payable locally. A refundable breakage deposit is required to be paid upon arrival to the local manager.

A car is considered essential for this villa. Access to the villa is through electric gates and there is private parking.
