This small development of twelve villas are set in an elevated position with breathtaking, panoramic views to the sea and the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. Located in an exclusive, quiet residential area they are within walking distance of the resorts superb facilities, golden beaches and the picturesque harbour area which has many excellent restaurants.The swimming pools at Villas Vista Carmen can be gated as added security for families with smaller children.

Interior

Villas Vista Carmen were built in 2001 in tradtional Canarian design and totally refurbished in 2008. These single storey villas are all similarly furnished to a good standard. There is an open plan living and dining room with local satellite television and DVD player combined and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The villas have three bedrooms all with fitted wardobes. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, one of which has access to a small patio, and both share a family bathroom. The villas are all of a similar style and layout but furnishings may differ slightly.

Exterior

Each villa has its own private terrace overlooking the swimming pool and fabulous sea views. Here there is a partially shaded area furnished with parasol and patio dining furniture where long hours can be spent watching the sensational sunsets and enjoying the superb views.A gate leads to the lower level where there is an extensive sunbathing terrace which surrounds the solar heated 8x4 metre swimming pool. The swimming pool is accessed via Roman steps and ladder steps.

Amenities

Villas Vista Carmen are situated in a slightly elevated, very sought after area of Puerto del Carmen. They are within easy walking distance of a large selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets and 1.2km to the picturesque, old harbour area which is a beautiful and relaxing location from which to watch spectacular sunsets and the local fishermen bringing in the catch of the day, while enjoying a class of sangria or a local wine. Many excursions leave from this harbour, including a glass bottom boat. The small, golden sand beach Playa Chica is approximately 1.2 kilometres from the villa. It also has a volcanic rocky cove, famous for excellent snorkelling, a small restaurant and a dive school. Nearby is the start of 7 kilometres of fabulous, golden beaches, all of which fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and offer sun beds, parasols and a variety of water sports. For the young at heart Puerto del Carmen, the largest resort on Lanzarote, has the best selection of night life, including a casino. A variety of sporting activities and entertainment are available in the resort and nearby. These include tennis, karting, mini-golf, bike, quad and buggie rental. The large Biosfera shopping centre in the old town area has an excellent selection of tax-free shops, including Zara, Timberland and Swarovski and a children's play area. Within a few minutes drive is Rancho Texas theme park where children can see a selection of unusual animals, enjoy the daily parrot and sea lion shows and go on pony rides. Line dancing, barbecues and wild-west shows are offered in the evenings. The exclusive marina at Puerto Calero is only a few minutes journey by car, or a water ride taxi from the harbour. It can also be reached along a spectacular costal path and has a superb selection of designer boutiques. It is a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants, while enjoying the activities of an international marina and the sight of stunningly luxurious, jet-set boats. It is also the departure point for many popular excursions including game fishing, a catamaran excursion to the famous Papagayo Beaches, submarine trips and yacht charters. This holiday villa is ideally located for exploring the rest of the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Central Puerto del Carmen is only 25 kilometres to the resort of Costa Teguise. Here the islands water park, the biggest aquarium in the Canary Islands, a beautiful 18 hole golf course and world class wind surfing schools are located. The volcanic wine growing region of La Geria is only a few kilometres drive and there are many Bodegas (vineyards) where local produce can be sampled and purchased.
