Beautifully located in the pristine Encosta do Lago Resort, Lagomare apartments are superbly appointed. They are ideally situated for the beach, sports, golf, fine cuisine, nightlife and shopping as well as all the natural beauty of the unspoilt UNESCO protected coastal region of Quinta do Lago.

Interior

Offering bright, spacious accommodation, Lagomare apartments are tastefully furnished to a high standard and have all the facilities necessary for a relaxing holiday. These three bedroom apartments are on the first floor of these two storey properties. There is an open plan living and dining area which has air conditioning and patio doors to a covered terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances for a self catering holiday. There are 3 bedrooms all with air conditioning. The master bedroom has a double bed, satellite television, en-suite bathroom and patio doors to the balcony. The other two bedrooms have either a double bed or two single beds and both have an en-suite bathroom or shower room. All the apartments are of a similar layout but furnishings may differ slightly.

Exterior

Patio doors lead to the covered balcony furnished with patio dining furniture. All apartments have spectacular views to Quinta do Lago lake, the Ria Formosa and the sea or to the attractive, landscaped gardens dotted with shady palm trees and communal pool areas within the complex.

Amenities

This popular and sought-after complex is set in breathtaking scenery and offers a range of amenities including a shared, palm fringed swimming pool with separate children’s’ area. Enjoy chilled wine and light snack at the poolside bar (open June to September) or enjoy the view from the central island linked to shore by three wooden bridges. For fine dining, there is the excellent Tuscanos a la carte restaurant offering international cuisine prepared from fresh, local produce and which also provides a take-a-way service for resident clients. For the more energetic, there are two floodlit tennis courts offering group or individual lessons, whilst the gym offers an impressive range of work out equipment and clients can book an appointment with a personal fitness trainer. Afterwards, relax in the sauna or the spa which offers beauty therapy, massage, aquatic therapy and physiotherapy. Further afield all the resources of the Quinta do Lago resort are on offer, including the 10,000sqm shopping centre modelled on London’s Covent Garden. Less than a ten minute drive away are the prestigious resorts of Dunas Douradas and Vale do Lobo. Between them they have two superb 18-hole golf courses, a Tennis Academy and a wide choice of beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international mouth-watering cuisine. The golden sand beaches of the resorts are bordered by red sandstone cliffs and are lapped by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the exclusive resort of Vilamoura and its picturesque marina with pavement cafes, bars, designer boutiques and international restaurants. A variety of marine excursions leave from here, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. A twenty-five minute drive inland takes you to the small village of Guia, famous for its spectacular Zoo-Marine park with shows featuring parrots, sea lions and dolphins. There is even the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
