Villa Zetta is a bright and airy, one-storey family villa suitable for wheelchair access. Situated in the picturesque village of Nea Magnesia and enjoying spectacular views to the sea and mountains, this attractive Cretan villa retreat is only 12km from the nightlife and shopping of the historic town of Rethymno – an ideal base from which to explore the treasures this beautiful region of Crete has to offer.

Interior

An attractive living area with double sliding patio doors opening onto the terrace and swimming pool houses an open-plan seating, dining and kitchen area. This is a comfortable, family space with fireplace, central heating and air-conditioning, making this villa an ideal holiday destination all year round. There is a sauna leading from the kitchen area. There are three bedrooms, all on the ground floor and all with air-conditioning. The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite with Jacuzzi. There is a further double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a twin bedroom which has use of a separate shower room.

Exterior

The exterior of Villa Zetta are designed to make the most of the panoramic sea and mountain views that surround this charming village. This is the perfect spot in which to spend long evenings enjoying spectacular sunsets over the waters of the Mediterranean. There is a private 8.5 x 4m swimming pool, accessed by integral steps and which has an outdoor shower. The swimming pool is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace and there are small gardens beyond.. There is an in-built barbecue and ample patio dining furniture to enjoy an al fresco glass of wine and an evening meal. The villa is accessed by a ramp suitable for wheelchair access. Although the villa itself is suitable for wheelchair access it should be noted that access to the beach is downhill.

Amenities

Villa Zetta is located in the picturesque village of Nea Magnisia on the outskirts of the town of Rethymno. This charming village is only 1.5km from the historical resort of Skaleta with its small stone jetty, quaint church, tavernas, fabulous sandy beach and the warm, azure waters of the Mediterranean. The nearest supermarket is just 500m away. The town of Platanes is only 6km away with a good selection of shops and tavernas. Also within easy reach are activities such as horse riding, diving, water-skiing, cycling, sailing and paragliding. The area is one of outstanding natural beauty, and is a haven for wildlife and bird-watching.

Services

For guests staying longer than 7 nights there is a weekly maid service including a towel and linen change. Internet connection can be provided by dongle and 10€ credit is provided free of charge.
