This excellent, modern villa is part of a small development of private villas, in a peaceful location only five minutes walk to the beautiful Los Pocilios beach. A wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walk and the centre of the resort is a twenty minute walk away. The villa benefits from the added luxury of a five-seater Jacuzzi Spa.For larger groups or several families nearby Casa del Rio and Villa Julia can also be rented.

Interior

This attractive, single storey villa is constructed and decorated to a high standard. The bright, comfortable, pleasantly furnished living room has doors out to the terrace. There is a modern, well-equipped, fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools. The villa has two pretty bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and there are two very well appointed bathrooms, one en-suite. Both bedrooms have patio doors leading onto the extensive sunbathing terrace. The washing machine is in a utility area which is walled and perfect for drying clothes.Casa Pipa can accommodate 4 people in the existing bedrooms and a further child under12 on a fold-a-way bed.

Exterior

The 8m x 3.5m heated swimming pool is accessed by ladders into the deep end and is surrounded by an extensive sunbathing terrace with sunloungers. Ample sunbeds are provided for soaking up the long hours of Lanzarote sunshine and there is a patio table and chairs overlooking the swimming pool for comfortable al fresco dining and barbecuing. Patio doors from both bedrooms lead directly onto the spacious sunbathing terrace and there is a luxurious, Jacuzzi Spa with an outdoor shower.

Amenities

Casa Pipa is situated in the residential Los Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen and has the enormous benefit of being only a few minutes walk to a large, golden sand beach. Los Pocillos is set apart from the main resort and is a popular choice for villa holiday makers, wanting to be located away from the busiest tourism, whilst being within easy access to the many attractions of the resort. A large supermarket, several restaurants and bars are located near to the villa and a four star hotel welcomes non-residents to use their facilities, including tennis courts. A wide beach front promenade links the main resort of Puerto del Carmen in one direction and the capital of the island, Arrecife in the other. It passes 6 kilometres of glorious beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and resort activities. For the young at heart, Puerto del Carmen, the largest resort in Lanzarote and has the best selection of night life, including a casino. A vast variety of sporting activities and entertainment are available in the resort and nearby, including tennis, go-karting, mini-golf, bowling, quad, bike and Sedgeway rental. The promenade ends by the picturesque old harbour area, which has an excellent selection of bars and restaurants with panoramic sea and mountain views. Most of the beaches in Puerto del Carmen fly the Blue Flag, awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination and offer sun beds, parasols and water sports. Rancho Texas, a small exotic theme park is located approximately a twenty minute walk from the villa. It is set in expansive sub-tropical gardens and houses a variety of exotic animals including buffalos white tigers, pumas and Nile crocodiles. There are daily shows of sea lions, birds of prey and parrots plus pony and canoe rides. It comes to life in the evenings with fun-filled Wild West nights for all the family, with barbecues, cowboys, lasso shows and line dancing. The exclusive marina at Puerto Calero is 10 kilometres from the villa. It is a beautiful setting in which to have a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants, while enjoying the activities of an international marina full of stunningly luxurious, jet-set boats. The villa is ideally located for exploring the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Los Pocillos is approximately 20 kilometres to the resort of Costa Teguise. Here the islands water park, the biggest aquarium in the Canary Islands, a beautiful 18-hole golf course and world class wind surfing schools are located.

Services

There is a mid-week towel change and for guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service, which includes a towel and linen change.

Car Requirements

It is not essential to hire a car to enjoy the amenities of Puerto del Carmen, however car hire is recommended to explore the beautiful island of Lanzarote and its many attractions.
