This is a superb, beautifully decorated villa, with quite exceptional views to the sea. The villa is located in a peaceful, residential location, set back from the main resort and in walking distance to the old harbour, excellent restaurants, shops and beautiful golden beaches.

Interior

This luxurious, modern, single storey villa is furnished to a very high standard and is extremely bright and spacious throughout. The living room has stylish leather sofas, a dining area and large sliding doors to the terrace. There is a very well equipped separate kitchen, which has a breakfast bar, patio doors to the terrace and leads to a utility room, with washing machine and a clothes drying area. The villa has three extremely attractive bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a double bed, wall mounted television and a luxurious en-suite bathroom, with a full suite, bath and separate shower. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, which share a family bathroom.

Exterior

The patio doors from the living room and kitchen lead out to a large, two-tiered terrace, with breathtaking views. The upper level has a shaded area with patio dining furniture and a built in Canarian barbecue. The lower level has a large sunbathing terrace overlooking the private, 8x3.5 metre swimming pool, which has Roman steps. Next to this is the ultimate luxury of a 15 jet American hot spring spa Jacuzzi.

Amenities

Villa Valentina is situated in an exclusive, residential area of Puerto del Carmen, where many superb holiday villas are located. It is within walking distance or a short taxi ride of a large selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets and only 1.8km to the picturesque, old harbour area. Here there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants, most of which have panoramic sea and mountain views, which specialize in local fish, tapas and international cuisine. It a beautiful and relaxing location from which to watch spectacular sunsets and the local fishermen bringing in the catch of the day, while enjoying a class of sangria or a local wine. Many excursions leave from this harbour, including a glass bottom boat. The neighbouring small, golden sand beach Playa Chica also has a volcanic rocky cove, famous for excellent snorkelling, a small restaurant and a dive school. Nearby is the start of 6 kilometres of fabulous, golden beaches, all of which fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination and offer sun beds, parasols and a variety of water sports. This seemingly endless expanse of golden sand, interspersed by a few coves, stretches from Puerto del Carmen to Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote. There is a wide beach-front promenade taking you past shops, restaurants and cafes. For the young at heart Puerto del Carmen, the largest resort on Lanzarote, has the best selection of night life, including a casino. A variety of sporting activities and entertainment are available in the resort and nearby. These include tennis, karting, mini-golf, bike, quad and buggie rental. The large Biosfera shopping centre in the old town area has an excellent selection of tax-free shops, including Zara, Timberland and Swarovski and a children's play area. Within a few minutes drive is a small Wild West theme park where children can see a selection of unusual animals, enjoy the daily parrot and sea lion shows and go on pony rides. Line dancing, barbecues and wild-west shows are offered in the evenings. The exclusive marina at Puerto Calero is only a few minutes journey by car, or a water ride taxi from the harbour. It can also be reached along a spectacular costal path and has a superb selection of designer boutiques. It is a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants, while enjoying the activities of an international marina and the sight of stunningly luxurious, jet-set boats. It is also the departure point for many popular excursions including game fishing, a catamaran excursion to the famous Papagayo Beaches, submarine trips and yacht charters. This holiday villa is ideally located for exploring the rest of the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Central Puerto del Carmen is only 25 kilometres to the resort of Costa Teguise. Here the islands water park, the biggest aquarium in the Canary Islands, a beautiful 18 hole golf course and world class wind surfing schools are located. The volcanic wine growing region of La Geria is only a few kilometres drive and there are many Bodegas (vineyards) where local produce can be sampled and purchased.

Services

The villa will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival. There is a towel service from Monday to Friday and for clients staying more than 7 nights, a weekly maid service with linen change. When the villa is offered at a special rate, there will be a weekly maid service with linen change and a mid week towel change. The owners provide a complimentary welcome, food basket including a bottle of cava.
NB: This villa prefers 7 or 14 night stays during summer months and over the Christmas and New Year. Please check the dates with us if you are unsure.

A car is not considered essential for this villa but is recommended for maximum enjoyment of the island.
