This excellent, luxury villa has a spectacular, private swimming pool set in beautiful, mature tropical gardens. It has sea and rural views over the countryside. It is two kilometres from the charming old town of Pollensa and the golf course there. It has a one bedroom guest cottage located in the orchard.

Interior

This two storey villa has been decorated to a very high standard and is extremely spacious throughout. The use of antique wood on the high ceilings and carved doors gives it the authentic feel of a typical local finca. It has a stylish, sunken living room with an open fire place and patio doors leading onto the terrace. The elegant dining area has a large dining table with patio doors leading to the covered terrace. The rustic, country kitchen is well-equipped, having an archway to a breakfast area and access to two outdoor terraces. There is a separate utility room. Villa Grenadine has four bedrooms in the main house, all of which have air conditioning. One bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite bath room, is located on the ground floor. A sweeping stairway leads from the hallway to the first floor where three further bedrooms are located. The master suite has a bedroom with a four poster bed and patio doors to a private terrace with views to the sea. A dressing area leads to an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi corner bath and a separate shower. The other two bedrooms have large twin beds placed side by side. One has a private terrace with sea views and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. The second bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a lovely private terrace overlooking the barbecue area and pool. There is a charming, rustic studio cottage a hundred meters from the main house. The bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a TV and a kitchenette with a mini-bar sized fridge, sink and working surface to make your breakfast in the morning. It has its own private terrace with a small breakfast table.

Exterior

Villa Grenadine is set in gorgeous, mature, tropical gardens with lemon, orange, olive and palm trees. The covered terrace spans over the entire length of the house and is accessed through the dining area. It continues on a lower level towards the living area where it is not covered and hours of sunshine can be soaked up. The fabulous pool with it’s natural rock feature is beautifully integrated into the tropical landscape and is accessed by roman steps. There is a sundeck with wonderful views to the mountains and sea. At one side of the house is a sheltered barbecue area with a typical Mallorquine oven. There is an external cloakroom with a shower for the convenience of guests using the pool.

Amenities

The friendly resort of Pollensa is located only two kilometres from the villa and is a good base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of Mallorca’s northeast coast. Located 55 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, pretty Pollensa sits in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and is full of traditional charm. Narrow, winding streets lead to the bustling town square, the Plaza Major, where you can enjoy memorable hours of alfresco dining or just have a drink at one of the many charming local bars. A short drive away is the Bay of Pollensa with its sheltered horseshoe shaped beach and warm, shallow aquamarine waters. The relaxed family resort of Port of Pollensa is a short drive away with its wide, golden sandy bay lined with an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in the Port of Pollensa brimming with colourful local produce and handicrafts. The nine-hole golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is only two kilometres away. Nearby, is the larger resort of Alcudia, boasting one of the largest beaches on Mallorca and for families there is the water park.
