This magnificent original Mallorquine villa was extensively up-graded in 2007 with the addition of an indoor heated swimming pool with hydro-massage shower, sauna and small gym making it an ideal holiday choice all year round. Villa Padierna also has a spectacular outdoor swimming pool that has been built into rock as well as the luxury of a private tennis court set in beautiful, extensive, mature gardens and picturesque rural views to the distant mountains. It is located just over three kilometres from the Bay of Pollensa and approximately seven kilometres from the wide sandy beaches, excellent restaurants and a good selection of boat excursions and water sports. For larger families and groups, Villa Can Marquet and Villa Miro are nearby.

Interior

This superb two storey villa offers guests a wonderful flavour of traditional, Mallorquine country accommodation blending with modern, contemporary furnishings and facilities. There is a generous entrance hall with an open fire place and a stone archway leading to a formal dining room. There are two comfortable living rooms both with televisions and one of them has large picture windows overlooking the garden, as well as a play station for the enjoyment of younger guests. The well-equipped kitchen has access to a pretty breakfast room and a door leading onto the covered terrace and a barbecue area.
Also accessed from the living room is the recently added modern spa and fitness area where you can enjoy the indoor heated pool, hydro-massage shower, sauna and small gym. Large patio doors lead to a covered terrace with patio dining furniture, overlooking the gardens and tennis court.
Villa Padierna has four attractive bedrooms all with air conditioning which is included in the price. On the ground floor there is a wonderful master bedroom suite with its own snug lounge area and bedroom with a double bed, en-suite shower room and patio doors offering delightful views across the gardens. Three further bedrooms are located on the first floor. Two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other twin beds each have an en-suiteshower room. A further twin bedroom has use of an adjacent bathroom. For additional convenience a further bathroom is located on the ground floor. Villa Padierna has the added feature of WiFi internet access for guests wanting to bring their lap top computers. This villa is open over the winter months as a winter sun destination and for the cooler evenings there is central heating as well as the added features of the indoor heated pool, indoor spa and sauna.

Exterior

Villa Padierna sits in its own extensive private grounds surrounded by tranquil, Mallorquine countryside with views to the mountains. It has a large attractive covered terrace with an ample supply of dining and outdoor furniture which makes it the perfect place for alfresco dining, overlooking the superb, lawned gardens. In the garden sits the spectacular and unique 55 square metre freeform swimming pool accessed by integral steps which has been designed around and built into the natural rock with feature bridges and islands and a separate Jacuzzi. In addition there is a barbeque area situated under a covered pergola. The villa also benefits from having a private tennis court and table tennis table.

Amenities

The friendly resort of Pollensa Town is located only six kilometres from the villa and is a good base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of Mallorca’s northeast coast. Located 55 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, pretty Pollensa Town sits in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and is full of traditional charm. Narrow, winding streets lead to the bustling town square, the Plaza Major, where you can enjoy memorable hours of alfresco dining or just have a drink at one of the many charming local bars. A short drive away is the Bay of Pollensa with its sheltered horseshoe shaped Bay. The relaxed family resort of Port of Pollensa is a short drive away with its wide, golden sandy bay lined with an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in the Port of Pollensa brimming with colourful local produce and handicrafts. The nine-hole golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is only eight kilometres away. The larger resort of Alcudiais only nine kilometres away, boasting one of the largest beaches on Mallorca and for families there is the water park.

Services

The villa has a daily maid service with mini clean except for Sundays and public holidays. This includes bed making, cleaning of bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens (does not include washing up). Towels are changed twice a week, bedlinen is changed weekly for two week stays. (Fridays or Saturdays). Pool towels can be supplied by the local managers for a nominal charge and have to be ordered and paid through Premier Holidays in advance. Pool towels are changed during two week stays only.
