Villa Miro is a beautiful, large, rambling villa in an excellent position, located down a country lane in the heart of the countryside, within easy reach of both the town of Pollensa and the bay of Pollensa. With an indoor heated pool, sauna, private tennis court and small gym, it is an ideal holiday choice all year round. Villa Miro also has a lovely outdoor pool with integrated Jacuzzi as well as the luxury of a private tennis court set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Excellent restaurants and a good selection of boat excursions and water sports are all within a short drive.For larger families and groups, Villa Padierna and Villa Can Marquet are nearby.

Interior

This lovely villa has been very well decorated in Spanish style with high quality furnishings and has typical, high beamed ceilings throughout. A large entrance hall leads into the spacious living room which has an arched stone ceiling, an open fire place and a formal dining area at one end. This charming, large room has patio doors leading into a big, bright conservatory with wicker furnishings, a dining area and a wall of glass doors leading to the garden and swimming pool. The separate kitchen is extremely spacious with a large dining table, a utility room and access the pool area. The villa has four attractive bedrooms with air conditioning which is included in the price. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. There is a double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom with access to a family bathroom. On the first floor is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a large terrace on the first floor which is accessed by both bedrooms and overlooks the pool area and the Port of Pollensa in the distance.

Exterior

The terrace on the top floor spans over the entire east facing front of the house and has wonderful views to the distant Port of Pollensa. Patio doors from the conservatory lead terrace and garden and a ramp for wheelchairs has been provided. There is an enormous sunbathing terrace with sun beds and patio furniture surrounding the private, 10x5 metre swimming pool. It is accessed by roman steps and has an integral Jacuzzi. The barbecue area is housed in a sheltered building in the grounds and table tennis is available for the enjoyment of guests.

Amenities

The villa is only 3.5 kilometres from the bay of Pollensa with its large sandy beaches being 7.5 kilometres away. Along the tree-lined promenade are an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. The town of Pollensa, with its narrow cobblestone streets and typical Mallorquine houses, is just 5 kilometres away. There is a Wednesday market in Puerto Pollensa and a Sunday market in Pollensa town where local produce and handcrafts can be bought. The nearby nine-hole golf course is only eight kilometres away. Palma de Mallorca is about 70 kilometres away.

Services

There is a maid service every day except Sundays and public holidays. Towels will be changed twice a week and for guests staying for 2 weeks there is a weekly linen change.
