This artistically decorated villa is set in an elevated position with fantastic views across Ibiza. It is located three kilometres from the charming village of Santa Gertrudis which attracts artists from all over the world.

Interior

This is an enchanting villa which has been decorated with a lot of thought and charm. The entrance to the villa is unique as it opens to a sitting area with a winding staircase leading up to the tower in the style of the famous Catalan architect Gaudi. The tower constitutes the third floor and has been made into a circular “chill- out” room with panoramic windows and cushioned seating. From here you can see the most magnificent sunsets. Patio doors lead from this room out to the pool and terrace. The living room is located on the ground floor and has a wood burning fireplace framed by a hand carved impressive wooden ornament. These hand carved, thick, dark wooden frames are a feature throughout the villa. The living room also incorporates a dining table and is open plan to the very well equipped kitchen. The villa has three lovely bedrooms all of which have air conditioning. Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor and have a four poster double bed. They both share a separate bathroom room. The master bedroom also has a four poster double bed and is located on the second floor. It has satellite TV, access to a private terrace and a separate shower room. Both bathrooms have been decorated with the same amazing Gaudi style tiling. Due to the tower feature and the infinity swimming pool this villa is not suitable for children.

Exterior

A private driveway leads to this charming property which is set on a privately owned hilltop. There is a tennis court one kilometre from Villa Gaudi, within the grounds, that is for the use of the guests. The exquisite cascading 8 x 4 metre pool is surrounded by a sun terrace. There is a covered barbecue area with an integral kitchen, fridge gas stove and sink. Patio dining furniture complete the luxury of alfresco dining in the lazy, Ibithenco summer nights. There is a winding staircase to the top of the tower which has breathtaking views over the entire island and distant sea views.

Amenities

Three kilometres away is the village of Santa Gertrudis, well known for its attraction to artists. There is an art gallery, leather shop and a shop which sells hand made gold and silver jewellery. Several bars line the main road which winds its way through, but nobody should drive by without parking close to the local church and trying out the cured ham and cheese at Bar Costa. From the outside it seems like a typical Spanish bar, but once inside there are several more dining rooms with many wonderful and interesting paintings and other art work. Villa Gaudi is located in the centre of the island, making it possible to access various beaches and towns within a twenty minute drive. San Antonio to the west has the famous Café del Mar bar from where you can see wonderful sunsets, visit the caves in the north of the island by San Miguel or drive east to the beautiful beaches of Cala Llonga.
