Villa Gorrion is located in the sought after residential area of La Font on the outskirts of the old town of Pollensa and within walking distance to local amenities .This stylish villa with its mixture of modern and traditional is decorated to a very high standard with antique furniture. It has a separate outdoor area with a fully equipped kitchen providing the ideal place for alfresco dining. Larger groups and families have the option of using the separate two bedroom casita within the grounds.

Interior

This impressive, two storey villa has a large entrance hall with an open fireplace that leads into the dining room which is beautifully furnished with antiques. It is open plan to a formal living area with a wrought iron fireplace and beautiful wooden ceilings which are a feature throughout most of this stunning property. A large arched door leads out into the garden and pool area. There is an additional very comfortable living room with an open fireplace, French windows, and air-conditioning. The spacious, modern kitchen which is located in the main house is well equipped and has a large breakfast table with seating for eight people. The villa has four spacious bedrooms, all with air conditioning which is included in the price. One bedroom with a double bed is located on the ground floor and has a separate shower room. The other three bedrooms are located on the first floor.The master bedroom is entered through a cloak room and has an ornate, antique Spanish double bed, writing desk and an en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms have twin beds and are very spacious and colourfully decorated. One has an en-suite shower room and the other has access to a family bathroom with corner bath.
The Casita : This separate annexe is located within the grounds and reached by a vine covered walkway. Large sliding glass doors lead into an open plan breakfast room with a microwave, kettle, small bar fridge and television. There is a small snug with sofa and coffee table.There are two twin bedrooms each with an en-suite shower room. The casita also has two small covered terraces. Available from 2012, Villa Gorrion will accommodate up to 8 people in the main villa. Groups of 9 adults and more will have access to the casita.
This villa is open over the winter months as a winter sun destination and for the cooler evenings the villa has central heating.

Exterior

The villa is set in private mature gardens with a separate gated driveway to give additional privacy. It has a lovely pond with Koi Carp, a 9 x 8 metre swimming pool accessed by integral steps and a pool house. The 9 by 8 metre pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with several sun lounges and has an integrated bubble spa which can be used as a children’s pool. The fabulous covered outdoor, entertaining area is adjacent to the villa and is accessed via sliding glass doors offering an ideal location for al fresco entertaining on balmy evenings. This room has a fully fitted kitchen area, including oven, hob grill, sink and second fridge and a table seating twenty people. A door leads to a utility room which houses a washing machine, toilet and shower room which in turn leads directly out to the gardens, pool, and BBQ.

Amenities

The friendly resort of Pollensa is located only one kilometre from the villa and is a good base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of Mallorca’s northeast coast.The beautiful cove cove beaches are only 5km away and Puerto Pollensa beach is 7km. Located 55 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, pretty Pollensa sits in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and is full of traditional charm. Narrow, winding streets lead to the bustling town square, the Plaza Major, where you can enjoy memorable hours of alfresco dining or just have a drink at one of the many charming local bars. A short drive away is the Bay of Pollensa with its sheltered horseshoe shaped beach and warm, shallow aquamarine waters. The relaxed family resort of Puerto Pollensa is a short drive away with its wide, golden sandy bay lined with an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in Puerto Pollensa brimming with colourful local produce and handicrafts. The nine-hole golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is only 8 kilometres away.The larger resort of Alcudia is only nine kilometres away, boasting one of the largest beaches on Mallorca and for families there is the water park.

Services

The Villa has a daily maid service with mini clean except for Sundays and public holidays. This includes bed making, cleaning of bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens (does not include washing up). Towels are changed twice a week, bedlinen is changed weekly for two week stays. (Fridays or Saturdays). Pool towels can be supplied by the local managers for a nominal charge and have to be ordered and paid through Premier Holidays in advance. Pool towels are changed during two week stays only.
