Villa Castillo is situated in a rural location, mid-way between the old town of Pollensa and the superb beaches of the resort of Puerto Pollensa. This sumptuous, elegant house is decorated to a very high standard with antique furniture and has a large pool with integrated Jacuzzi. Adjacent to the main villa is the exterior Casita which houses the indoor heated pool with jacuzzi, small gym,sauna and the villa also has a paddle tennis court. It is an ideal villa for large family groups or groups of friends with easy access to all amenities and beaches.

Interior

This two storey grand villa has a large entrance hall that leads to an elegant dining room with antique furniture, a long wooden dining table and patio doors that access the covered terrace. The main living room has a closed wrought iron fireplace, satellite TV and DVD. For added convenience there is an additional comfortable living room and a shower room on the ground floor as well. The kitchen is very spacious and rustic in style. It has a breakfast table and utility room and a door which leads onto the covered terrace. The villa has four bedrooms with air conditioning. One bedroom is located on the ground floor off of the entrance hall. It has twin beds and a separate bathroom with a corner bathtub. The other three bedrooms are located on the first floor. One of the master bedrooms has a four poster double bed and an en-suite shower room. The other master bedroom has a double bed and patio doors leading onto a terrace with dining furniture. The fourth bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room. All bedrooms are fitted with air-conditioning/heating units which is included in the price of the villa.

Exterior

The large covered terrace runs along the entire length of the villa providing comfortable seating areas and marvellous views over the gorgeous, mature gardens and swimming pool. The roofed barbecue area has additional seating which makes it ideal for alfresco dining on warm summer evenings. The 10 x 4 metre pool is surrounded by green lawns and provides sufficient space for several sun lounges and basking in the sun. The pool has a special feature of an integrated Jacuzzi which can also be used as a children’s pool. Adjacent to the main villa is the exterior Casita which houses the indoor heated pool with an indoor jacuzzi, small gym,sauna. Villa Castillo also has a paddle tennis court.

Amenities

Pollensa is located less than two kilometres from the villa and is a good base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of Mallorca’s northeast coast. Located 55 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, Pollensa sits in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and is full of traditional charm. Narrow winding streets lead to the bustling town square of Plaza Major where you can dine or just have a drink at one of the many local bars. A short drive away is the Bay of Pollensa with its sheltered horseshoe shaped beach and warm, shallow waters. The relaxed family resort of Puerto Pollensa is a short drive away with its wide sandy bay lined with an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in Puerto Pollensa offering local produce and local handcrafts. The nine-hole golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is only a short drive away. Nearby, is the larger resort of Alcudia, boasting one of the largest beaches on Mallorca and for families there is the water park.
