These excellent villas are located in the exclusive, international marina at Puerto Calero with a good selection of restaurants, bars and cafes within a ten minute stroll. They are only a few minutes drive to the main resort of Puerto del Carmen with its wide sandy beach and beachfront promenade that stretches from one end to the other.
InteriorThese beautiful, villas are elegantly furnished in a Spanish style. They have all been built to the same design and layout but have all been individually furnished to a similar, high standard. The spacious, airy living room has a dining area and patio doors to the pool terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The villas have three well proportioned bedrooms all of which have built in wardrobes. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom and patio doors leading to the sunbathing terrace or garden. There are two further spacious bedrooms which both have double beds and share a shower room with a large, traditional Canarian-style walk-in shower. For guests needing twin beds in one bedroom, there is ample space to add a z-bed to any of the bedrooms. Some of these villas are accessed via a stairway and located on an upper floor and the others are on the ground floor.
ExteriorThe villas are in an elevated position from Puerto Calero and each has a sunbathing terrace which surrounds the 5m x 3m solar heated pool. The pool is accessed via integrated steps and has the added feature of an integrated seating area. The sunbathing terrace is furnished with sunloungers and patio furniture for guests who enjoy alfresco dining whilst enjoying the Lanzarote climate. AmenitiesPuerto Calero is the first and most famous marina on Lanzarote. It was designed and built to attract the worlds most glamorous super yachts and offers an accordingly sophisticated atmosphere. Many exclusive regattas are hosted here and attract members of the Spanish royal family along with famous sports people. A variety of restaurants are located along the waterfront with charming views of the hustle and bustle of the marina. Shops and a supermarket are on site and there ample taxis to whisk clients off to other island attractions. The Canarian Cetacean Museum, the only dolphin and whale museum in Spain, offers a unique opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures, their sounds and habits through over two hundred exhibits. There are two new hotels in Puerto Calero which are open to non-residents. The five star Hesperia Hotel has a Thalasso spa and wellness centre which can be enjoyed by guests of nearby villas. A selection of excellent excursions leave from the marina. They include a submarine diving adventure, catamaran sailing, big game fishing and the possibility of chartering yachts and luxury cruisers. Alternatively a water taxi or bus service links the area with the main resort of Puerto del Carmen, clients with cars can drive there in five minutes. The resort is home to five kilometres of spectacular, golden beaches. A more traditional Canarian atmosphere can be experienced in the pretty fishing villa of Playa Quemada which is only a five minute drive away and has a stunning black volcanic beach and a selection of fish restaurants. The wine growing region of La Geria and the volcanic national park of Timanfaya are only a ten minute drive away.Puerto Calero is a fifteen minute transfer from the airport.
