This comfortable, two-storey villa set within its own spacious grounds is full of character and enjoys a superb vantage point perched above the Javea in a quiet, leafy location a little removed from the main resort. The private pool is surrounded by spacious sun terraces ringed with balustrades and has views to the sea, Cabo San Antonio and Mount Montgó stretching beyond. Despite its tranquil location Villa Escorpio is within easy reach of all of the amenities that the popular resort of Javea has to offer and is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions this stretch of the Costa Blanca has to offer.

Interior

The open-plan living areas are furnished in a stylish, contemporary feel whilst the wooden ceiling beams add a touch of rustic charm. The seating and dining areas are completely open-plan and have ample comfortable seating arranged around an open fireplace and a dining table which seats six. Several windows and sets of double patio doors open onto the terrace and their different aspects mean that the room is flooded with light at any time of the day. An arched hatch opens into the kitchen which is fitted with modern units and is fully equipped with everything necessary for a self-catering villa holiday. There is a separate utility room. The villa’s three bedrooms are also located on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a double bed, double patio doors onto the terrace and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third has twin beds. These bedrooms have use of a separate shower room on the ground floor and a further shower room on the first floor where there is also a small solarium or roof terrace for private sunbathing.

Exterior

The private, 9 x 5m freestyle shaped pool is accessed by roman steps and seems to blend into the mountain and skyscapes beyond. It is surrounded by an expansive sunbathing terrace furnished with sunloungers. There are gardens planted with subtropical plants, almond and lemon trees whose aromas waft across the barbecue area accessed by steps down from the pool terrace.

Amenities

There are three restaurants within walking distance of the villa. Major supermarkets, more restaurants and the beach are within easy reach, between a five and ten minutes drive. The villa is about two kilometres away from the lively, family-friendly Arenal area of Jávea. El Arenal is a wide sandy beach offering safe bathing, beach and water sports, around which lies a wide promenade with bars, restaurants and shops – equally lively during the daytime and at night and therefore a preferred holiday destination for tourists. The attractive port and historic old town of Jávea are also well worth a visit and are only three kilometres away. Two golf courses are just a short drive away. Nearby coves, Granadella and La Barraca invite snorkelling, bathing and beach bars.

Services

For guests staying longer than one week there is a weekly maid service . A refundable breakage deposit of £350 cash or the equivalent in Euros is required to be paid on arrival to the local manager.
