This excellent semi-detached, large and airy farmhouse has recently been converted to a very high standard. It has been thoughtfully and stlylishly furnished and retains many lovely original features alongside modern additions. It is situated in a tranquil position within the traditional village of Zurrieq, only a few minutes walk from local shops and restaurants. It benefits from the luxury of an outdoor jacuzzi and has a the added benefit of a separate children's swimming pool.

Interior

This beautiful two storey property is very light and spacious throughout. The farmhouse has a beautiful, large, open plan living room and dining area complete with an open fireplace with patio doors leading out to the pool area. It has been tastefully furnished and in keeping with traditional Maltese properties retains its vaulted arched ceiling and mellow limestone walls. There is a separate, well equipped kitchen, decorated in lovely vibrant colours, with a breakfast bar. Dar Zurrieq has four attractive bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. This bedroom overlooks a quaint central courtyard with colourful tropical plants. There are two further bedrooms with double beds, one with en-suite bathroom and the other with an en-suite shower room. There is also a single room and a separate downstairs shower room. The kitchen, dining room and master bedroom have air conditioning units which are an optional extra and payable locally. The villa also benefits from having local Melita cable television which allows clients to enjoy several English speaking channels.

Exterior

The exterior of this property is particularly lovely, very shelterd and romantically lit at night. Patio doors lead from the livingroom onto the spacious sun terrace and pool area. The beautifully shaped swimming pool measures 10 x 5m. It has roman steps and an adjacent, separate children’s pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The terrace had patio dining furniture, a barbeque and sun loungers, making it a wonderful relaxing venue for enjoying the fabulous Maltese climate and al fresco dining.

Amenities

Dar Zurrieq is situated in the traditional village of Zurrieq in the south of Malta. Local bars and restaurants can be found in the village which is within a two minute walk. In the nearby picturesque harbour guests can enjoy delicious local cuisine or take boat trips to the famous Blue Grotto caves. The surrounding area is also rich in historic sites and is an excellent base from which to discover Malta.

Services

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service. A refundable security and breakage deposit is payable on arrival at this villa. A breakages deposit is required for this villa.
