This superior, modern villa is in an excellent location on the hillside just outside the resort of Coral Bay with its beautiful beach. It is set in attractive grounds and its elevated position provides stunning, panoramic, sea views. A wide choice of restaurants, taverns and shops are within a few minutes drive, either in Coral Bay or the nearby, charming village of Peyeia.

Interior

Villa Maida is a modern two storey villa, spacious and stylishly decorated with contemporary furnishings. It has an attractive open plan living room, a dining area with patio doors to the terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. Villa Maida has three good sized bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom and patio doors to a private balcony with superb sea views. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, one with mountain views, the other with a balcony and views to the sea. They both share a full shower room and there is a further guest toilet on the ground floor. Portable heaters and air-conditioning is available throughout the villa.

Exterior

The outdoor areas of this villa offer spacious seating areas surrounding the 8x4 metre swimming pool which is entered by ladder steps. Patio doors from the dining room lead onto a terrace with patio dining furniture, which together with a barbecue provides a lovely venue for al fresco dining in the glorious Cypriot climate. There are outstanding views from the garden, sunbathing terrace and balconies.

Amenities

The centre of the resort of Coral Bay is 1.2 kilometres from the villa and offers a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops, and a lovely ,sweeping, sand and shingle beach with beach bar and a selection of water sports. The traditional, Cypriot and friendly village of Peyeia is a few minutes drive or a twenty minute walk away. It has supermarkets, shops, and a good choice of charming, family run taverns and restaurants. Nearby, set in large, unspoilt parkland voted No 1 tourist attraction in 2005 is the unique Bird and Animal Park which is located just minutes away. Close by is the charming village of Agios Georgios from where off road vehicles can drive up the unspoilt coast and visit the famous caves. There are excellent restaurants in this area which overlook breathtaking scenery. A drive into the hills takes you into beautiful countryside and delightful traditional villages where you can enjoy a meal among the wonderfully friendly locals in a tavern. A fifteen minute drive past the Tombs of the Kings takes you into the lively town of Paphos which is rich in night life, shopping for treasures to take home and a wealth of Cypriot and international cuisine. The picturesque old harbour area of Paphos is a relaxing place to sit over a meal while watching the beautiful yachts come and go. There are many marine excursions leaving from here and nearby the fabulous Aphrodite Waterpark is superb attraction for family days out. The sporting and adventure facilities in the area are endless and include exciting jeep safaris, balloon flights and deep sea diving. The villa is located twenty seven kilometres from Paphos airport.

Services

There is a mid week towel change and for guests staying longer than a week there is a weekly maid service. Air conditioning units are in all bedrooms and are an optional extra charged locally and portable gas and electric heaters are available for the living room during cooler months charged locally.
