This is a gorgeous villa, which has been recently constructed in an old country style. Set on an elevated position not far from Pollensa old town and port, it has fantastic views to the surrounding countryside and the Tramuntana Mountains. It has a lovely outside terrace from which to enjoy the stunning scenery. Shops, bars and restaurants can be found in the nearby old town of Pollensa which is a five minute drive away and the nearest sandy beach of Port of Pollensa is only five kilometres away.

Interior

This beautiful villa has recently been renovated to add extra comforts such as air-conditioning. It has been constructed in a rustic style, blending in with the wonderful surrounding countryside. The living room has high wooden beam ceilings. The centre is dominated by a large open fireplace surrounded by several sofas, making it a comfortable area to sit and chat. The living room incorporates a dining table and has patio doors leading onto the covered terrace. The separate kitchen is very well equipped for a self-catering holiday and again is very rustic in style featuring a large gas hob and a small breakfast table. The villa has six bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the first floor and has a low, slanted ceiling. It has a double bed and the bathtub is integrated in the bedroom as well as the shower. There is a separate toilet. The master bedroom has patio doors leading onto a wonderful, large balcony. Two more bedrooms are located on the mezzanine floor again having very low, slanted wooden beam ceilings and look down into the living room and would be perfect for children. Both share a separate shower room. On the ground floor are three more bedrooms. One has a double bed and has been modified to help guests with limited mobility enjoy a comfortable holiday with access to an en-suite wheelchair accessible shower. The other two bedrooms each have an en-suite walk-in shower. One bedroom has twin beds and the other one has a double bed. All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning which is included in the villa price. For additional convenience there is a cloakroom on the ground floor.

Exterior

The villa is located in a rural setting between the port of Pollensa and Pollensa town. The villa has a lovely L-shaped terrace with wooden beam ceiling and several seating areas, one facing out across the Tramuntana Mountains. There is also a dining table for eight people and a further dining table, which accommodates 20 people. A path leads to the 6 metre round swimming pool, which has a small cascading water feature and stone walls and pillars to one side, giving it an almost Roman theme. There is also a sun terrace with several sun loungers to enjoy sunbathing on hot summer days.

Amenities

Located in between Pollensa and the port of Pollensa, the villa is four kilometres away from restaurants and the old town, which has a nice market place with a few cafes where you can enjoy a lovely, typical Mallorquine breakfast. The port is approximately five kilometres away from the villa, which has a large white sandy beach, reaching to the port area where fishing boats are lined up next to yachts. Port de Pollensa has an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and even offers a fine variety of antique shops and art galleries. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in the Port de Pollensa brimming with colourful local produce and handicrafts. The larger resort of Alcudia is nearby, boasting one of the largest beaches on Mallorca and for families there is the water park.

Services

For guests staying here longer then one week there is a weekly mini-clean with towel and linen change. A refundable security deposit of €500 is required to be paid locally upon arrival.
