Villa Son Valent is just a few minutes drive from Port de Pollensa and is a perfect base from which to explore the north of Mallorca.
InteriorThis highly sought after, spacious villa has been lovingly restored to a very high standard, using an eclectic mixture of modern and antique furnishings. The imposing entrance hall has a beautiful, wood beamed ceiling. An elegant dining area leads to the living room where there are patio doors to the garden and swimming pool. There is a large, fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table. Patio doors lead out to a covered, dining terrace. Villa Son Valent has six attractive bedrooms. One bedroom, with a double bed is located on the ground floor. It has access to a bathroom, which has been made suitable for disabled guests. There are five bedrooms on the first floor, three of which have double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms with twin beds, share a family bathroom.
ExteriorImmediately outside the villa, a huge, covered terrace offers respite from the many hours of Mallorquine sunshine. It has a fabulous stone dining table overlooking the swimming pool and a comfortable seating area. It is romantically lit in the evenings and is where guests will want to spend their time relaxing and unwinding, in this superbly peaceful setting. The 10x5 metre swimming pool is entered by roman steps and is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace. There are beautiful country views from all of this extremely, large and private property.
AmenitiesVilla Son Valent is only a short drive to the coast and all the amenities of the resorts of Port de Pollensa and Alcudia. The nearest beach is 3.5 kilometres away and is situated on the 4 kilometre coastline of Port de Pollensa. A beautiful, tree lined promenade stretches along the seafront to the harbour where you can enjoy a selection of marine excursions. Port de Pollensa has an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and even offers a fine variety of antique shops and art galleries. The friendly village of Pollensa is located only 3.7 kilometres from the villa and is a good base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of Mallorca’s north coast. Located 63 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, pretty Pollensa sits in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and is full of traditional charm. Narrow, winding streets lead to the bustling town square, the Plaza Major, where you can enjoy memorable hours of alfresco dining or just have a drink at one of the many charming local bars. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in the Port de Pollensa, brimming with colourful local produce and handicrafts. The nine-hole golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is only 6.7 kilometres away. The larger resort of Alcudia is only 9 kilometres away. Famous for having one of the largest beaches on the island, Alcudia caters for all, with nice shops, a beautiful harbour area and a water-park for families.
