This excellent, two-storey villa is located on the edge of the charming, quaint and picturesque village of Argaka. Surrounded by citrus trees, with unbeatable views over the ocean this is a unique location in which to spend a memorable holiday. It is a short walk to the beach and the nearest local taverna. It is seven kilometres to the coastal resort of Polis, with its excellent amenities and wealth of taverns, restaurants and bars. The nearby, sleepy village of Latchi attracts visitors from afar to its excellent, traditional fish restaurants and offers a selection of marine excursions.
InteriorThis spacious villa has been designed to maximise it’s proximity to the sea, with large patio doors providing breathtaking views. It has been decorated to a high standard and is bright and airy throughout. The open plan living and dining room has patio doors leading to the terrace overlooking the swimming pool and sea. A well-equipped kitchen leads into the dining room and provides everything necessary for a self-catering holiday. Villa Hermes has four well-furnished bedrooms. There is a twin bedroom located on the ground floor, with an en-suite shower room which is accessible for wheelchairs as it has a wider door, ramp to the shower and safety handles. The three remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, which share a family bathroom, and the third bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room. All the first floor bedrooms have the added luxury of a private balcony with marvellous sea and sunset views. Air conditioning is available in the living room and each of the bedrooms for an extra cost which is payable locally.
ExteriorVilla Hermes is secluded within an orchard garden and its slightly elevated position presents a fantastic view across the surrounding country and sea. Patio doors in the living room lead out to a large sunbathing terrace, which surrounds the 10m x 4m swimming pool, accessed via roman steps. There is a built in barbeque, sun beds and garden furniture, providing the perfect setting to enjoy the glorious views and the magnificent sunsets on long, warm summer evenings.
AmenitiesVillaHermes is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Argaka. The nearest beach is only a short walk and here you will find a small selection of local tavernas and restaurants. There is one main coastal road that runs along this area and tavernas and small shops are dotted along the way at the side of the road. This beautiful region, with its breathtaking views and miles and miles of picturesque coastline provides a wonderful setting for a villa holiday. It is adjacent to the Akamas Peninsular where a spectacular variety of local wildlife can be found. This area also provides a variety of road side restaurants and taverns, offering everything from traditional Greek food to international cuisine. Argaka is located near the coastal resort of Polis, just seven kilometres away, which has become a charming and active venue for people wanting the smaller tourist areas on the island. It has a picturesque square full of lively Cypriot bars and restaurants, with a few shops in between. This is a perfect venue to while away the hours enjoying delicious food and local life surrounded by green and unspoilt countryside. Following the coastline to the west, lies the simple village of Latchi with its long beach, small harbour and large choice of traditional fish restaurants dotted along the sea front. From the harbour, a variety of coastal excursions can be booked, including small boat hire for fishing trips. The sporting and adventure facilities in the area are endless and include diving, snorkelling, exciting jeep safaris and balloon flights. The Baths of Aphrodite are among many famous tourist attractions in the area and a drive to the Troodos mountains provides a beautiful and fascinating spectacle of Cyprus.
