Located in the sought after Clube Carvoeiro community Casa Flores is within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars in Monte Carvoeiro. It is 2 kilometres to the village of Carvoeiro, with its sandy cove, blue waters and beach cafes. The beautiful Praia Grande beach at Ferragudo and the popular Splash and Slide Water Park at Lagoa are only a ten minute drive from the villa. The famous Gramacho Pestana Golf Resort offers world class facilities and is located just three kilometres from the villa.

Interior

A mixture of traditional, Portuguese and modern furnishings give this superior villa a stylish atmosphere. It has a very large living room with a wall of patio doors leading to the garden and a raised dining area. The separate kitchen has been decorated with colourful, local tiles and is well equipped for a self catering holiday. Villa Flores has three bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a double bed, patio doors to a terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. There are two further bedrooms with double beds which share a full bathroom.

Exterior

A large, shaded terrace, outside the living room, has a patio dining table and chairs. This area overlooks the garden and leads around the villa to an 8x6 metre swimming pool, which is entered by ladder steps or small diving board. There is further patio furniture, sun beds and a barbecue and for extra convenience there a toilet, accessed from the terrace. A roof terrace is accessed by an external, spiral staircase. Arrangements can be made for the swimming pool to be heated at an extra cost.

Amenities

This villa is well positioned in the popular resort of Carvoeiro Clube, with its fabulous tennis facilities. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful area of citrus groves and vineyards. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Algarve and it is only a twenty minute walk downhill to the cosmopolitan, village of Carvoeiro with a picturesque cove beach, bars and restaurants, offering traditional and international cuisine is a short drive away. Carvoeiro is particularly well known for its beaches, the rocky coastline has been eroded over time into a series of stunning sandy coves, breathtakingly beautiful but please access with care and sensible footwear. Many of the beaches also have snack bars for a drink or light lunch. Over to the west, where the calm waters of the River Arade meet the sea and separate Carvoeiro from Portimao is Ferragudo. Ferragudo is about 4km from Carvoeiro centre and one of the typical fishing villages in the Algarve which still retains its orginal charm. Here you will find one of the best beaches in the area, Praia Grande, with a couple of beach bars that overlook Portimao. This bustling town has a marina with a variety of excursions, including boat rentals, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, dolphin and whale spotting. There are tennis centres in Clube Carvoeiro and Rocha Brava and a riding centre and watersports at Ferragudo to the west. Waterparks are popular in the Algarve with the nearest being Slide and Splash, a smaller park between Lagoa and the Country Club. Several other parks are along the EN 125 heading towards Faro. Also worth a visit is the Zoo-Marine park with rides, animal shows and the opportunity to swim with dolphins, located just west of Guia on the EN 125. There are several boat trips available in the Carvoeiro area, exploring the fantastic coastline and stopping at exotic beaches. Perhaps the most memorable day out and under sail is aboard Santa Bernada - a replica caravelle, which departs from the old sardine pier in Portimao on weekdays.

Services

There is a mid week towel change and for guests staying longer than one week there is a weekly maid and linen change. The swimming pool can be heated at an extra cost, please contact Premier Holidays for cost which is paid locally. A telephone is available for use and will be charged locally. Electric under floor heating is available for the cooler months at an extra cost which is payable locally. For guests arriving after 10 p.m. there is a €25 charge to be paid locally.

A car is not required for this property, however it is recommended in order to explore the Algarve.
