This superior, modern, villa offers very spacious and attractive accommodation. It is located in Colina Carvoeiro, just a short distance from Monte Carvoeiro and approximately 2.5 kilometres from the centre of Carvoeiro, its excellent amenities and the beautiful sandy beach. The beautiful Praia Grande at Ferragudo and the popular Splash and Slide Water Park at Lagoa are only a ten minute drive from the villa. The famous Gramacho Pestana Golf Resort offers world class facilities and is located just two kilometres from the villa.
InteriorThis new, two-storey villa is decorated to a very high standard and has a light and bright feel throughout. It has a living room with matching leather sofas and an adjacent, formal dining area. This large, airy room has two sets of patio doors leading to the dining terrace and swimming pool. A large, well designed kitchen offers good facilities for a self-catering holiday and there is a utility room with a washing machine and clothes drying facilities. Villa Oliveiras has four good-sized bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and televisions. One, with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom is on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with double beds and patio doors to furnished balconies. One has an en-suite bathroom, the other an en-suite shower room. A further bedroom with twin beds has a balcony and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest cloakroom and toilet on the ground floor. The villa benefits from electric shutters throughout and air-conditioning is available at an extra cost.
ExteriorA covered terrace outside the living room makes a pleasant venue for al fresco dining away from the full heat of the sun. It overlooks the attractive 9x5 metre swimming pool which is entered by roman steps and can be heated at an extra cost. Please call Premier Holidays to arrange this in advance. The surrounding, extensive sun terrace has sunloungers and provides ample space for soaking up many hours of warm sunshine. From the upper terraces there are views over the Monchique Mountains and the sea.
AmenitiesVilla Oliveiras is well positioned in the popular resort of Colina Carvoeiro. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful area of citrus groves and vineyards. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Algarve and it is a short drive to the cosmopolitan, village of Carvoeiro with a picturesque cove beach, bars and restaurants, offering traditional and international cuisine. Carvoeiro is particularly well known for its beaches, the rocky coastline has been eroded over time into a series of stunning sandy coves, breathtakingly beautiful but please access with care and sensible footwear. Many of the beaches also have snack bars for a drink or light lunch. Over to the west, where the calm waters of the River Arade meet the sea and separate Carvoeiro from Portimao is Ferragudo. Ferragudo is about 4km from Carvoeiro centre and one of the typical fishing villages in the Algarve which still retains its orginal charm. Here you will find one of the best beaches in the area, Praia Grande, with a couple of beach bars that overlook Portimao. This bustling town has a marina with a variety of excursions, including boat rentals, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, dolphin and whale spotting. There are tennis centres in Clube Carvoeiro and Rocha Brava and a riding centre and watersports at Ferragudo to the west. Waterparks are popular in the Algarve with the nearest being Slide and Splash, a smaller park between Lagoa and the Country Club. Several other parks are along the EN 125 heading towards Faro. Also worth a visit is the Zoo-Marine park with rides, animal shows and the opportunity to swim with dolphins, located just west of Guia on the EN 125. There are several boat trips available in the Carvoeiro area, exploring the fantastic coastline and stopping at exotic beaches. Perhaps the most memorable day out and under sail is aboard Santa Bernada - a replica caravelle, which departs from the old sardine pier in Portimao on weekdays.
ServicesThere is a mid week towel change and for guests staying longer than one week there is a weekly maid and linen change.The swimming pool can be heated at an extra cost, please contact Premier Holidays for cost which is paid locally. Air conditioning is included between the dates of 6th June and 6th September. Outside of these months the air conditioning is extra and charged locally. For guests arriving after 10 p.m. there is a €25 charge to be paid locally.
