This excellent villa is situated in Caramujeira. It is only ten minutes walk to Marinha beach which has been voted amongst the best 100 beaches in the world. The small town of Carvoeiro with a good selection of restaurants, bars and cafes is only a few kilometres away. The famous David Leadbetter Golf Academy and the Pestana Golf Resort offer world class facilities and are located five kilometres from the villa.

Interior

This spacious and light, two storey villa has been furnished to a good standard. The living room has comfortable seating and patio doors to the garden and there is a dining room with a small terrace. A separate kitchen provides all the facilities necessary for a self catering holiday and has access to a laundry and utility area. Villa Josefa has four bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms with patio doors. One has twin beds, one has double bed and they share a full bathroom. There are two further bedrooms on the first floor. One has twin beds and a seating area, the other has a double bed and patio doors to a terrace which overlooks the swimming pool. Both of these share a shower room. This villa can accommodate eight people in the bedrooms and a further child on a foldaway bed.

Exterior

Patio doors lead from the living room to a large sun terrace which surrounds the 8x4 meter swimming pool which is entered by roman steps. At the side of the villa, a gazebo with patio dining furniture provides a further area for al fresco relaxation in the warm Portuguese climate. The first floor terrace and a roof terrace have wide views over surrounding countryside.

Amenities

Villa Josefa is well positioned in the quiet and tranquil area of Caramujeira. It is only a ten minute, downhill walk to the beach Praia da Marinha, considered one of the 100 beaches of the world. A similar distance takes you to the cosmopolitan, village of Carvoeiro with a picturesque cove beach, bars and restaurants, offering traditional and international cuisine. With a supermarket, pharmacy, shops and banks, guests have everything on their doorstep. The nearby, bustling town of Portimao has a marina with a variety of excursions, including boat rentals, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, dolphin and whale spotting. The nearby, small village of Guia has a superb Zoo-Marine park with shows and the opportunity to swim with dolphins. It is approximately a thirty minute drive to the top-class resort of Villamoura with a marina, golf courses, a casino and broad, sandy beaches.
