Interior

Every attention to detail has been paid to decorating and equipping this beautiful, two-storey villa to provide relaxing luxury for a memorable holiday. It is extremely spacious, light and airy, which is accentuated by the, modern furnishings, interspersed with dramatic, original artwork and fabulous use of colour throughout. The property is entered on the level of the swimming pool, where there is an elegant, sunken living room with a marble fireplace and an archway to the dining room. Patio doors lead out to the terrace from both rooms and they both have excellent sea views. A kitchen, fully fitted with top of the range appliances, is accessed through sliding doors in the dining room. Villa Mandia has six spacious and stylish bedrooms, all of which have flat screen TV’s and can comfortably accommodate twelve guests. The outstanding master suite has a bedroom with a four-poster bed, an adjoining private lounge and a superb en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath facing out to the terrace, from which there are stunning sea views. There are three suites with en-suite shower rooms equipped with large hydro massage units and two suites with en-suite bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths. Bathrobes and towelling slippers are provided for guests’ use in all the bath and shower rooms. There is also a guest cloakroom and toilet on the ground floor.

Exterior

The exterior areas of this property have been designed to maximise the outstandingly beautiful views and outdoor living in the warm Menorcan climate. A huge terrace surrounds three sides of the villa and is accessible directly from various rooms. Large, covered areas protect an outdoor living area furnished with sofas and a dining area from the sun. A further al fresco seating area is placed beside the built-in barbecue and overlooks the wonderful 10x5 metre swimming pool. This is entered by roman steps and has the added luxury of a hydro massage and whirlpool within it. The entire terrace can be romantically lit at night.

Amenities

Villa Mandia is located in the resort of Son Bou, 16 kilometres from Mahon airport airport. The beach in Son Bou is said to be the prettiest beach on the island, with 3 kilometres of fine, white sand and clear blue seas. You can hire a variety of watersport equipment here such as, jet skis, pedaloes and windsurfing and snorkelling equipment. The beach is backed by sand dunes and a protected salt water nature reserve. Don’t be surprised if you see ducks on the beach that have wondered away from the marshland. Son Bou has a small water park, a few basic tourist shops, eateries and pubs and there is a small disco in the resort. Nightlife on the island is low key with evenings being based around one of the restaurants and bars within the resorts. The nearest town is Alaior and is just a short drive away, you will find more facilities here and there is also a market held every Thursday morning. The capital of the island Mahaon, is approx 19 kilometres away. Mahon has a fantastic port area, providing great shopping facilities as well as a good choice of restaurants and bars.
