This recently renovated, Gozitan town house is in excellent location, on the edge of the picturesque village of Xewkija. It is just fifteen minutes walk from Victoria, the capital of the island and a five minute drive to the nearest beach.

Interior

This traditional property boasts rustic charm throughout. The open plan living room benefits from air conditioning and has wooden beams across the ceiling, patio doors leading to the pool area and a modern kitchen area with a breakfast table. Tac Chiquita has two beautiful bedrooms each with air conditioning located on the first floor. The master suite has a double bed and an en-suite with a large Jacuzzi and separate shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms share a large sun terrace, which overlooks the swimming pool. This property can accommodate up to four adults in the existing bedrooms and a further child under twelve on the sofa bed in the living room. Air conditioning is an optional extra and payable locally.

Exterior

Patio doors from the living room lead to the lower terrace surrounding the 7.5 x 4 metre swimming pool, which is entered via ladder steps. At the side of the swimming pool is comfortable patio dining furniture, an ideal place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the warm evenings. A larger sun bathing terrace can be accessed from the hallway on the first floor, this terrace overlooks the swimming pool.

Amenities

This townhouse is situated within the traditional village of Xewkija, just 500 metres from the centre. It is a five minute walk to the nearest mini market and there a couple of small, local bars within a five minute drive. Both the capital of Victoria and the picturesque fishing village of Mgarr are a fifteen minute walk away and provide the nearest restaurants.

Services

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service with a mid week towel change and bathroom clean. There is an additional charge for the use of the air-conditioning payable locally.

It is essential to hire a car on this fascinating island. The roads are good and every kilometre brings a new and interesting surprise. We can supply a good selection of hire cars or jeeps.
