This superb villa offers excellent accommodation in one of the most breathtaking settings on the island. It is on a private plot of 8000 meters with over sixty mature palm trees which provide a tropical atmosphere and frame the panoramic sea views. The location is ideal, only five minutes drive to either the picturesque port in Puerto del Carmen or the exclusive marina at Puerto Calero. Many of the islands best restaurants are within a few minute drive and the miles of golden beaches and amenities in Puerto Del Carmen are nearby. For the added protection of small children the swimming pool is walled and gated.

Interior

This beautiful villa has a sunny, holiday atmosphere and is bright and spacious throughout. It has a stylish open plan dining room and sunken living room with an LCD flat screen TV and patio doors leading to the covered terrace. Both of these rooms have superb sea views. A modern kitchen provides the necessary facilities for a self catering holiday and there is a separate laundry area with a washing machine and drinks fridge. A games room provides an alternative venue for the younger guests with table tennis, TV and DVD player, board games and a seating area. Villa Las Palmeras has four attractive bedrooms all with ceiling fans and sea views. The lovely master suite has a bedroom with a double bed, a dressing area and patio doors to the terrace. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a superb, shower/wet room area. There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a double bed and both have fitted wardrobes. These two bedrooms share a full family bathroom. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, a dressing area, patio doors to the terrace, sea views and an en-suite shower room. There is also a guest cloakroom and toilet.

Exterior

The exterior of this property is fabulous and very private. The sea views are magnificent and the tranquility is unbeatable. Doors from the living room and kitchen lead out to a huge covered terrace which provides welcome shade in this sunny part of the island and is lit at night. There is a luxurious, six- seater Jacuzzi tucked in a sheltered and private corner where guests can relax and unwind with a cool drink, while enjoying the view. The terrace has a comfortable dining area with teak furniture and a gas barbecue, providing an idyllic setting for al fresco dining and entertaining. This area overlooks the impressive swimming pool which is set within a walled terrace and is gated to provide added security for small children. It measures 10x5 meters, is entered by roman steps and has a separate, heated child’s pool at one end.

Amenities

The prestigious and sophisticated marina at Puerto Calero is less than a five minute drive from the villa. It is the first and most famous marina on Lanzarote. It was designed and built to attract the worlds most glamorous super yachts and offers an accordingly sophisticated atmosphere. Many exclusive regattas are hosted here and attract members of the Spanish royal family along with famous sports people. A variety of restaurants are located along the waterfront with charming views of the hustle and bustle of the marina. Shops and a supermarket are on site and a selection of excellent excursions leave from the marina. They include a submarine diving adventure, catamaran sailing, big game fishing and the possibility of chartering yachts and luxury cruisers. The main resort of Puerto Del Carmen is a few minutes drive from the villa and is home to five kilometers of spectacular, golden beaches and a wide choice of nightlife. The old, picturesque harbour offers a variety of restaurants and can be reached in less than five minutes by car. A five minute walk from the villa leads down to a rocky cove where the sea can be accessed by ladders for a swim in crystal clear waters. The villa is a twenty minute transfer from the airport.

There is a mid-week towel change and for guests staying more than 9 nights there is a maid service including a towel and linen change.

A car is considered essential for this villa. Please note that the access to the villa is via an unmade road. Local taxis will pick up and drop off on the main road.
