This is a charming, renovated, village farmhouse, which has kept most of its original features and been nicely decorated. It is located in the beautiful, peaceful village of Xaghra and is only 1.5 kilometres from the central square, with its good choice of restaurants and bars. It is few minutes drive to the beach at Ramala Bay and a choice of water sports. This delightful property offers relaxing holiday accommodation in a convenient location. Interior

This spacious, light and airy, village farmhouse is full of character and Gozitan charm with its beautiful, mellow limestone walls and beamed ceilings. It has been decorated using good quality, local furnishings. The living room has patio doors leading out to the terrace and swimming pool and is open plan to the well –quipped kitchen and dining area. These rooms are connected by lovely stone archways and have attractive beamed ceilings. Dar Ta Tanina has five bedrooms. Two bedrooms with twin beds are located on the ground floor and share a bathroom. The other bedrooms are on the first floor and all have en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed. There is a bedroom with twin beds and one with three single beds. Several of the bedrooms on the first floor have private balconies.

Exterior

The patio doors from the living room lead to a very pretty, walled, south facing sun terrace with outdoor dining furniture, sun beds and a built-in barbecue. This surrounds the lovely, kidney shaped 7.5 x 4.5 metre swimming pool and is an idyllic space to enjoy a tranquil and relaxing holiday.

Amenities

This farmhouse is situated in a small quiet street just 900m from the centre of the village of Xaghra and is a 10 minute walk to the local mini market. It has a delightful tree lined square with a couple of traditional restaurants and bars where you can sit and enjoy a drink with the very friendly locals. The village is encircled by the beautiful bays of Ramla, Ghajn Barrani and Marsalforn and offers fantastic views of the surrounding Gozitan landscape. Ramla with its honey-red sand is the nearest beach 5 minutes drive away and is by far the most popular beach on the Gozo.

Services

There is a twice weekly maid service and linen is changed once a week

It is essential to hire a car on this fascinating island. The roads are good and every kilometre brings a new and interesting surprise. We can supply a good selection of rental cars or jeeps.
